Catching My Breath -Nate Buzolic

1. Midnight Meeting

"I cannot belive they did Belitrix's death scene like that!" 18 year old Hannah exclaimed to her bestfriend of 5 years Rachael as they walked out of the crowed cinema and into the cold 2am nights air. "I know it was so disaponting i mean i wanted to cheer but NOOOOO they had to make it so it wasnt the right setting to cheer" Rachael resonds sounding a bit annoyed. Upon reaching their car Rachael shook out her long light brown hair and readjusted her beanie. "You get in i have to go pay the parking bill" Hannah nodded greatful for the cars warmth radiating from the heater and turned the radio on as Rachael walked away.

Walking to the pay box there was one slight problem. She couldn't find her parking ticket. Upon stopping, looking through her pockets for the ticket she felt someone tap on her shoulder which made her jump in fright. "Woah Woah im sorry darling I just wanted to give this to you" a tall guy with gorgeous brown eyes says holding up her parking ticket. Rachael sighed in relief smiling up at him. His accent gave her a sense of comfort having missed the sound of the accent from her home country. "thankyou" she takes it off him. "Sorry about freaking out on you". The guy chuckles putting his ticket into the pay box "I dont blame you darling. You're a beautiful young woman and don't take this the wrong way but you're exactly the the type of girl a guy would like to take advantage of at 2am in a parking lot." Rachael couldn't help but laugh at the statements as she put her ticket in the box and pays. "Well thankyou u.. um.." "Nate" he said filling in the blank.

As Nate looked at Rachael he couldn't help but smile. He thought she was beautiful with her big bright blue eyes, light brown medium length hair and cute blush and small smile. Her laugh was a little odd, which charmed him and made him want to laugh along with her. She was a bit smaller than his 6 foot build he assumed around 5'6. The girl looked down smiling then looked but up "Im Rachael" She said simply. Those two words were the last things he needed to be sure of what he was feelings. "Well Rachael I'll walk you back to your car. I dont want you alone 'cause... you know? creepy horny dudes" Rachael laughed again much to his delight. "Of course... but first please tell me you were watching the premiere and not waiting around for some clumsy girl to drop something." This time it was Nates turn to laugh. "Yeah I was watching the movie. I loved the books couldn't wait to see it so I got the midnight premiere." She nods and starts walking "It was great but not as good as I hoped" He groans and nodding in agreement following her "The Belitrix death scene was such a let down." The feelings I had towards her, the connection was getting stronger by the minute she even agreed with him about the disapointing Belitrix death scene. Within the short time it took them to get to her car he was bursting to ask her something and suddenly it slipped out "Will you have dinner with me tomorrow?" Rachaels eyes widen and Nate bit his lip thinking the worst but seeing that beautiful smile sweep across her face and she said the two words that made his night better than he thought possible. "Of course." Nate smiled back and kissed her cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow... 7.30 at Spago?" "Its a date" She replied blushing and getting in her car.

Watching her car drive away Nate couldn't help but smile to himself taking a deep breath. She was the most beautiful down to earth girl he had met in ages. He needed to make sure he didn't screw things up with her. He had to make tomorrow an amazing night and he knew exactly how.
