she was in the trunk for weeks
but that werent no issue
lil' sis were already dead by time the suits came
yeah, they say my name,
knockin on the door
when papa asked what for

we took em out to the back
a few bodies on the rack
they was lookin full 'a fright, in some manner a horror
shit brother, even the dead have feelings
might be a night nightmare,
but aint you know its rude to stare?

aint to long down the line
a few calls were made down the grapevine
at least thats what i remember
and by mid september
wed be cut off from the rest of the world
and into our own

but i swear by god we werent no murderers
i insist you hold us at higher esteem
we werent no murderers
but we been quarantined

see, lil' sis was still kickin in the truck
maggots on her brain,
though i know its insane
and the man who stole our water
was gaggin' on his own swoll tongue

and where were mama to be,
when all this was goin down?
well,
she clawed from her grave
under the big oak tree
makin sure we been behaved,
or she'll put us over her knee
at least thats what she used to tell us
made her way back to us,
an' got her on a leash in the yard

yeah
when there aint now more room in hell,
the dead be walking the earth
like it werent already burnin
