Start of my account

Alright so let's start with my experience and opinions on the Ziegler fandom (why not it's my book haha). So, I started up my account on October 29 in 2018, well I changed my account into a Ziegler fan page which made my account start at 50 followers (cheating?? I think not). At first I was so excited! I did my first post of Maddie and checked my phone every 10 seconds to see if it someone liked, boy did it take forever before it got a like, but eventually it did get (preparer yourself) 6 likes!! Okay it's not the best but nothing is when u just get started so my advice is don't get your hopes up too high, else you will feel down. Now let me give you some tips on how to grow your account.

Tips
1. Shoutout for shoutout? This is a great thing for beginning accounts, dm as many accounts possible for that question and no, I wouldn't call it self promo, because you're helping the other fan page too. If you don't feel comfortable dming people then just start giving shoutouts to fan pages, they might give one back.
2. Self promo!! I'm guilty of doing it myself (oops), but it does work! Also one thing I do is keeping my promise, if I comment self promo I say if you follow me I'll follow back and I do, while not everyone keeps their promise and I hate that. So watch out for that, always if someone asks "follow for follow?" Then look at their page, how many followers do they have? How many do they follow? If they follow 30% less than their follower count I can guarantee they won't follow back or at least will unfollow really fast.
3. Content! Content is really important (obviously), and I'm not talking about edits necessarily, I'm taking about photos, videos, captions etc. However if you do edit, great! Edits and especially video edits are a good way to show people your talent and uniqueness. Because remember, you're special so let it show.
4. Now last but not least, make friends! What a better way to start your account then with some friends, so the best way to do this is just send some fan pages a message like: 'love your account! Can we be friends?' If you just send some people a message then you'll have more chance on new friends, maybe people will send a message without you having done it first it relies on with what people you're dealing with. DISCLAIMER: If people are acting weird, mean, etc. Block them immediately, you don't want to deal with 60 year old males do you?
