Akiane has a twin sister named Akane. They are the daughters of a rich family that is very strict and controlling. That family is also friends with the Alicein family, means Akiane, Akane, Misono and Mikuni are friends. They met Mikuni in a Café, though, since he ran away from home when he was younger. They met Mahiru when they were babies, and they've been friends ever since. When they met Kuro, Akane noticed a change in Akiane's behavior when Kuro was around, and so found out she has a crush on him. Akane has found a liking on Mahiru from the very beginning, didn't understand it though. Their parents set them on a constant diet, making them so skinny, that you can see and touch their rips. When Mahiru noticed this, he started cooking for them to make them gain weight. They did gain weight, but it's not much, since they can't gain too much or their parents will get really mad (and they are very violent when they're mad).
