WANDER TO WONDER

River Camping, Mountain-seeing & Spelunking

Yet another escape this weekend, it was totally unplanned. We were supposed to go hiking to a nearby mountain but wheb I checked again, we needed permit from environmental institution.  I didn't want to take chances and hike illegally so we decided for a river camping instead. And violaaaa.... 🌞🌞🌞

This was the river, oh the scent of trees and the sound of river. It felt like home. 😅

And because I didn't had breakfast before the trip, the first thing I made was fire. I habe two accomplices and both were hungry as I am. We had meat ang eggplant and rice... Good thing there were plenty of wood around.  Here we will cook our food...🍖🍗🍗🍚🍚🍚

And the rest of the time were spent doing nothing.

We didn't spend much time in the river,  wr had other things in mind. Heading back to town,  we stopped by to get some fresh buko juice. The locals are selling by the road, overlooking the greenery. 🌿🌿🌿

Now I'm missing the mountains more.

After the short stopover we head to the cave and went spelunking. Gosh,  it was anothing thrilling experience. Some parts I had to squeeze myself through a narrow spaces.🏞

Some parts had waist-deep water, no snakes,  thank goodness,  just suspicious catfish,  though I had doubts if I did see a fish or something else. 😅🐍🐍🐍

What's in there? I wasn't daring enough to go that far. A lot happened inside, admired the glittering walls, the jagged ceiling and had gymnastics moves with all those twists and holes I had to go through!!!
