 ~months later~

"Babe," Kyle called looking at me from the doorway

"Yeah," I said looking over at him

"Do you wanna go see her?" He asked softly looking at the light pink elephant I was holding

I bit my lip a little, I wanted to go but I knew that I would probably end up breaking down again.

"Maybe we can take the boys?" He said sitting down beside me

"Yeah.... Maybe we should pick out some things to decorate with?" I said looking over at the little fake pink balloons and flowers

"Yeah, pick some out and I'll go get the boys ready," Kyle said kissing my forehead before going to get the boys ready to go.

I walked over towards Kaylin who was still asleep in his crib

"You wanna go see your sister little man?" I whispered to him running my fingers through his head full of little curls

I went to the other side of the room and grabbed a few of the pink flowers and little pink ballerina shoes and placed them in Kaylin's bag before going to pick him up out of his crib.

"Mommy why did Kailyn have to go to heaven?" Kam asked looking at the black heart shaped stone in front of him.

"Because sometimes babies aren't able to stay here with us for a long time so God turns them into angles so they can watch us from the sky," I said trying to explain to Kam the best way I could so that he would understand. Kyle gently wrapped his arm around me before pulling my head into his chest.

"It'll be okay," He said to all of us and holding Kj closer to him as it did the same with Kam and Kaylin.

"We'll be okay,"
