Take my hand and I'll free you from the dark.
Don't be scared and I'll lead you to the light.
Have some faith in me and you will see.
All you have to do is trust me.
Don't let your demons take a hold of you.
Their hideous laughter evokes a fear in you.
For they like to come in the night,
Patiently waiting to leave their mark.
Remember that star in the night sky,
The one which we lay under?
Let that be your glimmer of hope.
Rainy days don't last forever.
Even when the shadows seem to be nearing
And dark wants to prevail,
Let me be the one to light the way
And keep your fears at bay.
Let me be your flashlight
And get you through the night.
I'll be your lighthouse
And guide you through those raging tempests.
The bright full moon
To your never-ending sea.
The north star in the sky
That never fails to gleam.
