Izuku

Izuku woke the next morning with a smile on his face. He'd had the best dream. Kacchan had told him he loved him. He knew it would probably never happen, but the dream made him happy. He rose from the bed and stretched, still grinning.

He took a quick a shower and got dressed in a pair Kacchans sweats and a hoodie. The clothes were lose but since he hadn't planned on staying here, he didn't have his own clothes. He needed to get back to his own apartment.

They hadn't really discussed whether Kacchan wanted him to stay here. The mating was practically accidental. Izuku didn't expect him to change his whole life because of it. He felt a small pang of sadness at the thought, but he knew it wasn't right to expect so much of him. Just because Izuku loved him and was happy about the mating, didn't mean Kacchan was.

He sighed softly, then made his way to the kitchen. Kacchan was at the stove cooking breakfast. He turned with a grin when Izuku walked in.

"Sleep well?"

Izuku blushed before returning the grin.

"Yes. Thanks."

He wasn't sure how he was supposed to greet Kacchan now that they were mated. Most mated pairs couldn't keep their hands off each other. It wasn't necessarily sexual, but touch was expected. Hugs and small brushes of hands as they went about their day. Izuku wanted that. He wanted to be able to hug Kacchan without asking. Maybe lean against him as he cooked. But he wasn't sure how Kacchan would react.

He didn't show much emotion besides amusement or lust. He guessed he should be thankful it was something besides anger. He sighed again before just deciding to sit at the table. Kacchan frowned at him.

"What's wrong?"

Izuku met Kacchans crimson eyes before glancing away. He chewed and his lip and ducked his head.

"I just...We didn't really talk... And now....Well we're mates... But not really... How do I... I mean... Do you want me here?"

Katsuki

Katuski frowned before turning off the stove and walking over to Deku. He pulled him from the chair then sat down, placing Deku in his lap. He lightly gripped Dekus chin and looked into eyes brimming with tears.

"Now, what's the problem?"

"Well... I just..."

Katsuki cut him off with a gentle kiss. He pulled away and nuzzled Dekus throat, releasing calming pheromones. He became pliant, and sighed softly.

"Now, let's try this again."

"I don't know how I'm supposed to behave around you. We aren't proper mates. I don't want you to regret this."

"Shit! Deku... We did this all wrong. But I don't regret this. You're mine."

Katsuki had never really been good with words. He wasn't great at expressing his emotions. But he'd try for Deku. He couldn't let him think he didn't want this.

"I'm not good with words... But you being an omega is the best news I've ever gotten. I've loved you for a long time."
