Chapter 24

I look at jonah and start to panic
Jo: her mom got it for her, as a Christmas gift
C: ohhh
we arrived at prom and it was fun I guess, but my feet were killing me. I HATE HIGH HEELS. I didn't really dance except for that one time me and corbyn danced to the slow song. So yeah first prom experience was a bust but that's alright.(I love Eben) at the end of the night I was tired and wanted to go home. Daniel and Haley got voted prom king and queen, while Zach was trying to ignore his date. We decided to go to mine and Haley's house since there were no parents there and we had a massive sleepover. I honestly think this is gonna be awkward because it's me Corbyn and Jonah. Yeah.
We went home, got dressed comfortable and watched movies and ate a bunch of pizza.
M: ok so me lily, and Haley are gonna sleep in my parents room, Zach and jack can sleep in Haley's room and Jonah and corbyn can sleep in my room and Daniel you can sleep in the guess room.
H: ummm...  I was thinking me and Daniel can sleep in my room.
Z: Ooooooooo
J: Daniel getting lucky tonight
M: can y'all do that some other time
H: we aren't gonna do anything, I just wanna cuddle with him.
M: oh ok then, jack and Zach can...
J: actually I wanna sleep with lily
Z: really brooo
J: sorry
M: are you ok with that lily
L: definitely
M: well then...
C: well if all the other couples are sleeping together then why can't we?
I sigh
M: sure
Jonah suddenly made a sad expression.
M: you know what why don't we(hehe) just all sleep in the living room and I'll get the blow up mattress.
They all agreed.
I went up stairs to get the mattress when I felt someone tap my shoulder.
M: yeah
I turn around to see Jonah
Jo: Why did you wear that necklace?
M: I— don't know
Jo: you don't have to be nice to me, I mean really don't deserve it, you didn't have to wear it
M: I didn't wear it to be nice...
Jo: really?
He said questionably
M: yeah, I didn't even know you were coming
Jo: then why did you wear it?
M: I just thought— it looked good with the dress
Jo: ohhh
Jo: do you need help?
M: umm yeah- sure
He helped me carry the box down and we blew the mattress up. I put on a movie and we started talking when we laid down.
Haley and Daniel slept on the pullout chair, lily and jack slept on the coach. Making Zach mad, who had to sleep on the other pullout chair. I slept on the blow up mattress with corbyn, but we didn't cuddle and Jonah slept on the other side of corbyn.
Z: sigh
M: what's wrong zach?🤣
Z: jack
He said with a Pouty face
J: what did I do
Z: well first of all you made me go to prom with your annoying cousin then you won't pay attention to me because your all over lily
J: I'm sorry
Z: really?
J: no you butt head, we hang out all the time I need give lily some attention
Z: whatever
He turned away form jack and acted like he was sleeping
Jack did the same thing
H: well I don't know about y'all but I'm tired
D: same
They cuddled and fell asleep.
M: well I guess it's you and me
I said to corbyn
Jonah turned around
Jo: I'm still awake
C: I'm hungry
M: we just ate a bunch of pizza🤣
C:I know but I'm still hungry
M: go cook something then
("I can cook")
C: ok, do you want anything?
M: I'm good
C: Jonah?
Jo: I can eat
M: how?you ate like two boxes of pizza
Jo: I really don't know
Corbyn got up and went in the kitchen
M: sooooooo
Jo: soooooo what?
M: how are things going?
Jo: pretty good I guess. Hbu?
M: been doing good
Jonah laughs
Jo: this is awkward
M: yeah
Jo: why do things have to be so different you used to be your self around me
M: you know why
Jo: yeah
He said kinda sad
M: it's ok tho, I guess I forgive u
Jo: that's a dumb ass decision I don't deserve it
M: well your right but I guess I don't hate u anymore
Jo: thanks, and I'm sorry
M: I know
He smiles and I smile and then we just look at each other
Z: normally in this part of the movie y'all kiss and corbyn would walk in and be pissed, but I'm gonna stop it right here
M: I thought u were asleep
Jo: we weren't gonna kiss
Z: yeah ok, I'll act like y'all aren't making goo goo eyes at each other, I know y'all got history but it's corbyn, maya. He treats you right.

He was right corbyn was the one that saved me and stood up to Trevor, something jonah could never do.
M: your right, I'm sorry I have to go talk to corbyn
I get up and go to the kitchen to see corbyn trying to make pancakes.
C: oh hey maya
I run up to him and hug him.
C: what was that for
I pull away
M: thank you
C: for what, making pancakes, cause I'm pretty sure if you try them you wouldn't want to thank me
M: no for just being there for me
C: no problem, but seriously can you make pancakes, I don't think they're supposedly be black
M: sure🤣
I make pancakes and Jonah, Zach, and corbyn all devour the pancakes. After about a hour we all fall asleep.
~the next day~
I wake up to arms wrapped around me and beer on the floor. I look around to see everyone on the floor passed out and then I saw corbyn on the floor, if corbyn is on the floor then who's arms are wrapped around me? And where did the beer come from?
