I had walk right into Central Park! But, I lived in Virginia, not New York. I quickly spun around to leave, but there was no doorway in sight, and Tom was nowhere to be found.
"Hmm," I whispered to myself. Was I dreaming? Did I pass out in my bathroom stall? I decided that since I was there, I should try to do something. After all, standing in the middle of Central Park wasn't super normal.
I had been to New York several times, visiting my grandparents. They didn't live too far from Central Park, so it was worth a shot. We just visited them, so they probably were sick of me, but oh well.
The apartment complex seemed a little off, but I was sure it was theirs, and after looking around for a couple minutes, I found their apartment. I knocked, like any other person would. But some other lady opened the door.
"What do you want?" She demanded.
"I, uh, I'm sorry, I thought this was a different person's apartment," I stuttered.
"Don't disturb me again!" She yelled.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," I said, but she slammed the door on me before I could go in. Something was definitely not right. I was sure that was my grandparents apartment! I texted my grandma;
Hi Grandma! I'm in New York City right now, and I was wondering if you and Grandpa moved. I just came up to your apartment, and someone else answered the door.
Thanks!
RaineI know, weirdly formatted, but that was how my grandparents liked it.
Almost immediately after I sent the message, "message failed" popped up. I tried a few times, but the same thing kept popping up.
I decided to try and find the way to the roof of the building, since I really didn't know what to do. It wasn't that hard to find, and I found myself settling right over the edge. I mean, this had to be a dream, right? An insanely realistic dream, but still.
I looked out, and I saw red and blue. But not just any red and blue. My red and blue, at least in my dreams.
Mr. Peter Parker himself.
That's when I realized that I wasn't in a dream, and the world was fading way too quickly.
