Behind her smile
Is a hurting heart, behind
her laugh,she is
Falling apart.
Look closely at
Her and you will
See the girl
she is,
Is not really her.
She is the sea,
Wild and unpredictable
Energy in a constant motion.
Dance partner to the moon.
She is the mystery,
Moving in different ways than you.
When storms of emotions come,
Don't think she needs to be
Tamed or contained.
Remember, she is not like you.
She is the sea.
