Several days had flown by and the war had already commenced. While the warriors of Ishgar suffered many casualties, six out of the thirteen Shields had been taken down; Erza defeated Ajeel with valor, Laxus defeated Wahl in an act of vengeance, Dimaria was wiped out by Chelia, the Wind God Slayer, with the help of an old friend, Ultear. God Serena was gruesomely murdered by Acnologia in the flesh, and Natsu and Lucy displayed their unbreakable partnership in their fight against Jacob the assassin.

The battle was turning and for a moment, Mavis, the Fairy Tactician, had finally discovered a way to defeat Zeref. All she needed to do was live. With the help of Cana, the two set down to the guild's basement to begin her plan. Everything was finally falling into place for the residents of Ishgar.

And even though hope was beginning to swell through the hearts of Fairy Tail, and impending doom loomed over their heads as August made his approach to the guild hall. It was like a slacked noose waiting for the floor to drop and hang its victims. Only time would tell. And while Fairy Tail celebrated the victories over the few Shields that had fallen, other guilds' hearts shattered as they lost loved ones and came face to face with an unlikely enemy.

While there may be over half of the Spriggan's Shields remaining, Sabertooth set its sights on one; an invincible enemy that could end this war with the flick of a wrist. But that wasn't what scared them. They weren't scared of coming face to face with an enemy; they were scared of being on the opposite side of family. And Fairy Tail knew all too well that the Council's plan would rip hearts to shreds, but it needed to be done for the sake of the battle.

No battle is won without sacrifice.

"Tie 'em up!" With their leader vacant from the battlefield at the current moment, the troops decided to celebrate their hard-earned victory by showcasing their trophies. One by one, the members of Blue Pegasus were hoisted up onto makeshift wooden crosses, tied by their fragile joints to the splintering wooden structures. The guilds were strong, but there were simply just too many to enemies to handle.

Blood covered many of the beaten and arrows stuck out of their bodies as proof of their defeat.

"This ain't good enough!" Rogue and Sting laid battered on the ground, waiting their turn to be strung up like meat. They wanted nothing more than to fight back, but they lacked the strength they'd need to save their comrades.

A man in goggles and a black hood, masking his identity sauntered over to where Yukino was crucified. He stroked her chin and let his touch linger as he stroked his hand down over her chest to her waist, finally stopping in a whisper at her thigh. "Let's showcase our new girls," he sneered. A wicked grin graced his cracked lips as he grabbed the coat she wore over her bodysuit and ripped it off her frame. He also left the material underneath torn, holes revealing creamy skin just waiting to be demolished.

The men around him followed suit with all the other women, stripping them until just barely modest. Sting shook with fury as he watched his female guildmates get ravaged by disgusting men from the west. However, there was simply nothing he could do.

The blond grit his teeth to the point of cracking as he watched his best friend get tied to the wooden travesty. He had accepted that this was now his fate. It was the fate of Sabertooth, seeing as they could probably never come back from this. This defeat... This torture... This embarrassment... Sting was ashamed of himself for failing to protect his comrades. That was his goal as a master and he had already failed in their very first big fight. His guildmates didn't deserve this humiliation. Blue Pegasus didn't deserve it. But he did.
