2nd person
You dragged yourself out of the warm bed, feeling every muscle of yours burn like fire.
While doing your usual morning routine you felt weaker than ever but that was normal.
When you met your soulmate once, you'll get more weak and tired everyday you aren't united with them.
And it's been three years since this fucker left you. Selfishly and without any explanations besides those you got from his doomed parents.
I wish I could see you again. Just one fucking day... but again, you decided that I wasn't enough for you.
You closed the door behind you and inhaled the cool morning breeze.
You decided that I didn't deserve you.
___
The reason why you got up at the crack of dawn was because you simply loved to walk to your workplace through the park, what took you thirtyish minutes longer.
You enjoyed the cool air hitting your skin to wake your senses and your breath forming little clouds in the air.
Your feet dragged themselves through the almost empty park since you took this way everyday.
You reached the fountain that was placed in the middle of the park. It didn't work during winter so there was just a green soup on the ground of the basin.
The fountain was, just like the rest of the park, dilapidated and rusty but you loved it that way.
An old man who was with his dog walked around the stoned basin and greeted you friendly. You already knew him, he would walk this way every morning with his dog.
"Why don't you throw a cent into it?" He asked with a warm smile.
You couldn't help but to smile back due the warm aura of the man infront of you.
"Why would I do that?"
He shrugged, "Don't you know that if you throw a cent into a fountain then you can make a wish?"
Your smile dropped immediately and an unpleasant memory forced its way back into your memory.
13 years before...
"Princess!"
An excited voice chimed behind the five years old and she turned around startled, just to face her grinning friend.
She had been playing in her room when the strawberry haired boy suddenly barged into it, making a fuss for getting her attention.
She didn't even have time to react when his small arms wrapped around her fragile waist and closed her into a suffocating hug.
"I missed you Princess!" The two years older exclaimed as he gave her a cute pout.
The girl frowned, "We just met yesterday!"
He nodded and hugged her again in a possessive manner, his arms pinning hers against her sides.
"Can't you just come home with me after playtime?"
"Silly, where would I sleep?"
"In my bed of course!"
"But where would you sleep then?"
"In my bed of course!"
"..."
"No, we can't sleep in the same bed Jungkook." The little girl stated.
Jungkook pouted, "B-But why not?"
She rolled her eyes as if the answer was obvious, "Because you are a boy. And I'm a girl. Girls and boys can't sleep in the same bed together."
The older boy blinked, "Really?"
She nodded frequently, "Didn't you know?"
After that the two friends dropped the topic and played 'princess and pirate king' - Jungkook of course being the princess.
But Jungkook couldn't wrap his tiny head around what his love just told him.
She said they couldn't sleep in one bed together. But Jungkook wanted to! He wanted to wrap his arms around her soft body as if she was his favorite pillow and cuddle with her until he falls asleep.
He wanted to cuddle her all the time.
But he knew that she wouldn't like it.
His wish was to sleep with her in his bed. And to wake up with her.
What was her wish?
"If you had one wish. What would it be?" He finally asked while they were laying on her fluffy carpet.
She turned her head to the side to face him, her cheek being pressed into the soft cloth underneath her.
"What?"
He gave her his brightest bunny smile, "Make a wish princess."
She thought deeply and her face lit up, "I want our families to always be healthy and happy!"
The smile of the seven years old dropped, "How boring."
Then his head also turned into her direction so that they were now looking in eachothers eyes and his smile was back.
"I thought you wanted to marry me."
A pink blush spread over her face and she hit his arm, "Only big people can marry idiot!"
He giggled, "But I want to marry you now!"
"You'll have to wait until we're big too."
He suddenly became serious a frown forming on his small face, "And when we're big then you are going to marry me?"
She rolled her eyes, "Who else should I marry dummy."
___
You promised me.
You said you would marry me when we're big.
But I learned that a promise means nothing to you.
You broke to many of them.
You snapped out of your thoughts and looked back at the old man who watched you in concern.
"Are you alright? You looked sad fot a moment."
"I'm fine."
No, you're not.
"I should hurry up now. Goodbye!"
You said before hastily walking through the beautiful park. The leaves rustled as the wind made you shiver and you fastened your pace.
It began to snow.
