Do I know Hangul?
Aniyo. I only know a few words, but I really don’t know how to speak and write Hangul.
How was I able to translate them?
The English translations of EXO’s songs are posted on the internet, right? So yeah, I used those. I also looked at Silv3rT3ar’s translations. More than one reference really helps. Credits to them. ^^ But I did not translate them literally. It just can’t go like that. I translated them on how I see the song; how I interpret them on my own.
Can we sing them?
I don’t know. Maybe you’ll have a hard time if you would try singing my translations, but it’s possible. I was the one who translated them so I am able to sing it. Figure out how you can sing it. I believe you can. I can sing, surely you can too. (LOL. I see a different meaning with my terms. Anyway, I’m talking about the lyrics, okay? Not the talent. Anyone can sing. In the bathroom or on stage. Haha!)
Can you use them?
Of course you can. Why would I bother posting these publicly if I won’t allow you to? BUT! Please give credits. I’m begging you. T__T I had a hard time translating these so please give credits. And it would be better if you would also vote for the ‘chapter’ wherein the lyrics of the song was posted. Haha! Thank you!
Would I be able to translate all of EXO songs?
Unfortunately, no. They’re too many. Plus, I don’t think I can translate Wolf and Growl. Haha! The reason I pretty obvious.
Fun Fact:
One day in summer, I was bored. I kept on listening to EXO’s songs. I remembered how my friends and I laughed every time we try to translate EXO’s songs. Our translations were really funny. And so I thought, “Why not take translating songs seriously?” So I started translating Miracles in December and fortunately, I was able to finish it. I enjoyed it and eventually, it became a hobby. So that’s the history of my translations. Haha!
Important Note:
I would like to apologize if ever I have ‘degraded’ the song because of these translations. I just wanted to share what I have. Who knows? Someone might be searching for tagalog translations. Whoever you are, here you go. Just like what I have mentioned earlier, this is not translated literally so some lyrics which are originally expressed in metaphor may not be a metaphor in my translation. Mianhe! It’s difficult if I would follow every detail/word of the lyrics. It won’t fit. I tried to translate them how they are really expressed, but I just can’t. Again, sorry.
