>> Third Person POV <<
After traveling for days and days, mainly on horseback, the three males had found their way to Abida's sepulcher. Now, they were finally out of the sun, and they were all out of breath. To give their horses a break toward the end of their travels, they had walked. Aldra had taken off his mask, his red eyes gleaming in the torch and candle light. They stood in a wide circle with tombstones and torches along the barriers. The only thing that was heard was Saint stepping up the stairs to his father's grave.
Saint's eyes watched the glowing red circle as he stood in front of it. His eyes told many tales, depressing and happy tales. Saint missed his father dearly, and he stood with Tempest by his side. The two brothers stood there in silence as Aldra awkwardly walked around the permiter. Saint had walked up to the gravestone and brushed his hand against the lettering that was carved into it.
'Cast aside what remains of life, Throw away those keys.
Tear apart the cycle of strife, And starve away the disease.'
Upon hearing soft, gentle cries, Aldra looked over toward Saint. Saint had started to cry, and he had collapsed onto his knees. He was sobbing in front of the large, stone statue of his father. Tempest tried to comfort his brother but was soon brought into tears as well. Saint cried out in vain and Aldra walked over. He was hurt to see his Saint cry like this. He showed his large, black wings and sat between the brothers. He wrapped his wings around all three of them, trying to comfort the other two in any way possible. He mainly cared about Das, but wouldn't say how he really felt.
He just wanted both of them to be safe.
Aldra wrapped his long, beaten up arms around Das and pulled him closer, worried about Das's safety. The tomb wasn't necessarily the safest place, mainly because people would randomly come in and out and the tomb's layer 4 was.. dangerous.
Das let the taller and stronger male embrace him, sobbing quietly and mumbling about how much he had apparently failed his father. Aldra hated to see him like this, especially when Aldra felt like he couldn't help him. Aldra laid his head on top of Das's and rocked him back and forth, singing a soft lullaby.
It was about the gods, like Thor and Posideon. Aldra had learned it from his mother, who was a goddess. His mother had left years ago, but he still remembered the lullabies and memories. Aldra didn't think about her often, because of duties and certain cuties.. but being at Abida's tomb brought the memories back.
She had black hair and bright red eyes, similar to how he looked. She was the goddess of lava and fire, and she had passed similar abilities to her lone son. When Aldra's father died, everything came crashing down.
But, his backstory isn't too important, is it?
He focused on comforting the person he loved and cared about currently, who was a certain Saint Das XII. Saint had started to calm down, especially from hearing the soft singing emitting from Aldra's mouth.
Aldra didn't sing too often, since he was self conscious about it, but he had gotten the great singing from his mother. Gods and goddesses were perfect, though he was only a demigod.
Saint lay comfortably in Aldra's arms, his eyes almost closed. He was happy to have the attention and comfort. Aldra looked at Tempest, who had started to calm down once Saint had calmed down. Aldra softly sighed, burying his face in Saint's blond hair.
Eventually, it was time for them to leave. Aldra was tired while the other two were rested from taking a nap. Saint had Aldra draped over his back and was holding him. He put Aldra onto Charm, which was Saints horse. He grabbed Aldra's horse, Reign, then got onto his own horse. He led Reign as they started to head home.
