I had just finished up from my photography class and I was now getting ready to drive home. I turned on the radio and pulled out of the parking lot. As I was driving a song came on that I hadn't heard before. It was really good, the voices were so nice.

"And that was the new song by the boy band Why Don't We called Cold In LA." The radio man said.

I nodded, I was definitely adding that to my playlist later. I spent the rest of the ride home jamming out to different songs. Once I got back to my apartment I went onto Apple Music and searched 'Why Don't We' so that I could add their songs to my playlist. When I searched it went straight to the boy group, opening up their profile on Apple Music. I look at the five boys and dang they were cute and then I realized something.

"No fucking way." I said out loud in astonishment. "No, it can't be." I quickly grabbed my laptop and searched 'Why Don't We' and immediately went to members.

"Those are my, holy shit. How did I not know that they were fucking famous. This makes so much more sense now, the girls at the beach. Wow, I'm dumb. To be fair I didn't know their last names and I don't pay attention to pop culture enough to know about boy bands. This is fucking crazy." I sat down on the couch and shook my head and laughed. Well this day took a turn. I started to listen to their music, and wow they were really good and I mean REALLY good.

"Wait wait, they didn't tell me they were famous. Why didn't they tell me they were famous?" I asked myself. I decided to call the boys, hopefully they weren't busy. I let their song, 'Trust Fund Baby' play in the background while I pulled up Daniel's contact and called him, he's probably with the rest of them. I waited for Daniel to pick up the call. Finally he did and I saw the five boys faces pop up on my screen.

"Y/N!!!!" They all yelled.

I smiled, "hi boys. Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" They all asked.

"The song. Aren't they really good." I asked, I see them start to get nervous making me slightly chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah they are" The boys said, trying to save themselves.

"Ever heard of them? They're called Why Don't We, maybe you know them." I said.

"No, no I don't think so." They shook their heads.

"Hm, you sure?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows.

"Y-yeah" They all stuttered.

"Well then lets google them, hmm they are really cute, they look really familiar. I wonder why?" I say as I show them my computer screen. "Oh because they are YOU GUYS. YOU GUYS ARE IN A BAND." I raise my voice during the last part, turning the camera back towards me.

"Yeahhhh" They all say, sounding guilty.

"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?! BRO!"

"Sorry, are you mad?" Daniel asked me.

"Why would I be mad? THIS IS AWESOME. MY FRIENDS ARE IN A BAND." I yelled jumping up and landing onto the couch so that I was laying on my back.

They all laugh and smile at me.

"I have one question though?" I asked.

"Shoot." Corbyn said.

"Why didn't you guys tell me you were in a band?"

"Well, I don't know, we would have told you eventually but it was nice to hang out with someone as normal people for once. Someone who didn't know we were Why Don't We." Daniel said, the boys nodding along to what he was saying.

"I get that. Just because you guys are famous doesn't mean I'm gonna treat you any differently then I did before." I reassured them.

They smiled at me.

"You know, Daniel, you seemed to have left out the part about you being in a band when we were on FaceTime last night."

His face reddened, "sorry about that."

"Woah, woah, woah." Corbyn started.

"You two FaceTimed the other night?" Jonah asked raising his eyebrows and looking between Daniel and I.

"Maybe." Daniel and I both said.

"WITHOUT US!?" Zach asked, putting his hand over his chest like he was outraged.

"Sorryyyy, I couldn't fall asleep." I justified.

"Well call us next time!" Jack said.

"Y/n, are you picking favorites?" Corbyn asked.

"What! No!" I said.

Then we all burst out laughing.

"Next time I'll call all of you, alright?" I proposed.

"Perfect." They said.

"Well anyway you guys want to come over and watch a movie or are you too busy being celebrities." I joked.

"HUUHHH. We do NOT use that word." Corbyn said.

"TAKE THAT BACK!" Jack said.

I laughed, "okay, okay superstars just come over already."

They laughed and Daniel grabbed his keys, "we're on our way."

"Alright bye boys."

"Byeeeee." They waved before hanging up the phone.
