Scribble
I'd love to be the name you scribble on spare sheets
The words hidden between pages of your old notes
The name your lips speak upon uttering night prayers
The damsel you'll remember between good songs
I'd love to be the woman you speak of in your poetry
The muse you express your adoration through sonnet
The masterpiece your pen bled and swear of fidelity
The name hidden behind lines of your moving prose
Though I am just another woman your eyes can't see
Someone who longs for everything that you bleed
I'd love you to remember me before you fall asleep
I'd love you to think of me when your pen can't speakI wish you'd forget those damsels you've loved before
And I'd love to be that woman you are willing to die forReach us here:
