Athea walked across the large log, her arms extended outward, holding her balance as she walked.
"Slow down Athea!" Kuro shouted as he wobbled to catch up.
"C'mon Kuro! Hurry up!"
Athea hopped down from the log, landing on the other side of the bank, before jogging down to the base of the lake.
"Athea!" Kuro shouted again.
Athea began to run faster before something caught her eye.
She slowed to a stop, and squatted down close to the sand.
Kuro quickly joined her side hunched over, hands on his knees.
"Athea? Can you please wait for me next time?"
Athea didn't answer, but instead continued looking downward enchanted by it's beauty.
"What is it?" Kuro asked.
"Well, it is obviously a flower, and I have seen it many times before..." Athea trailed off, puzzled.
"Maybe your Dad will know! He is smart."
Athea nodded, and quickly plucked the blossom from the sand, and ran to catch up to Kuro, her flower tight in her grasp.
Athea and Kuro ran side-by-side and into the entrance of the Castle of Lions, and down the hall.
"Dad!" Athea called down the hall. No reply.
"Maybe we should wait until later..." Kuro suggested scanning the halls.
"I know I will see him at dinner, because a lot of people are signing a card."
Kuro's face scrunched in confusion. "A card?"
Athea nodded, "I thought that is what I heard when Mommy and Dad were talking."
Kuro shrugged and and motioned for her to follow him down the hallway.
"C'mon! Let's go back outside!" He called.
Just as they rounded a sharp turn, Kuro and Athea ran smack in the middle of someone.
"Ouch!" Athea said as she and Kuro tumbled over like dominos.
Athea looked up to see Keith, dressed in his Blade of Marmora armour.
"Uncle Keith!" Athea shouted.
He smiled before looking over to Kuro.
"Sorry Dad..." he replied nervously.
Keith smiled. "Your fine, Kuro. Now hurry alone, your mother and I are leaving soon."
Kuro gave a sad groan, before turning and waving at Athea.
"I guess I'll see you later!" Athea shouted.
Athea looked down to her hand, forgetting all about the flower.
She smiled, before turning around and running back down the hall.
Athea stopped at her parents bedroom door, before giving a soft knock.
"Mommy? Dad?"
Athea stepped forward, making the metal door part.
Athea stepped in the room, seeing Lance sitting on the bed, watching TV, and Allura close by, fixing her hair in the mirror.
Lance diverted his eyes from the TV and beamed when he saw Athea.
"Hey Blue!" He said, then patted the spot next to him.
