*Hey my dudes! Yep, I'm updating already! I just wanted to say that the story is really coming along in my head... Go vote and comment 😉*

5 days at camp, and I was already a freak. The fact that I knew quite a bit about everyone wasn't really helping. I was the weird kid that no one wanted to talk to. I tried socializing with some of the campers, but that didn't work out too well. Even if I didn't slip up and tell them about their own life, they looked at me like I was crazy. I felt like an outcast, and I wanted to go back home.
But... Was home with my step parents really home anymore?

The only two people that didn't seem to hate me were Leo Valdez and Nico di Angelo. I wasn't actually surprised because I knew that they had gone through exactly what was happening to me. But I couldn't live with myself if they found out that I knew them as well I knew myself.

Nico and Leo didn't really get along, but once I started hanging out with the two of them, they became more comfortable with each other.
These guys were the only people I trusted here, except for Chiron of course, which is why I sat with them every night at the campfire. They were here for me.

It was my 8th day here at Camp Half-Blood, and everyone except my two best friends still hated me.
As I scraped up a portion of my food to sacrifice to the gods that night, I whispered a silent prayer to my father, whoever he was, asking him to claim me. I just wanted to know who he was. I just wanted to fit in with the rest of them. But I didn't fit in, because I was the oldest unclaimed demigod, and I didn't want to be.

We walked over to the amphitheatre where the campfire was held every night. I usually had fun, but tonight, I felt something different in the air.

“What's wrong Lee?” Nico asked as he placed a hand on my shoulder, “You seem to be a little far away.”
I sighed and slumped. “I don't know Neeks. I guess I just don't feel well today…”

He studied my face, trying to see if I was hiding anything. When he didn't find anything, he nodded and turned to look at Will, who was walking over to us. He winked at Nico, making him blush, and grinned at me. I smiled back weakly. At least he didn't hate me.

Okay, I should probably explain. Will Solace was Nico's “friend”, but I could see right through that pathetic lie. The son of Hades was practically head over heels for that sunny boy Will. He'd never admit it, but I was more than pretty sure. I also couldn't help but notice that Will acted all flirty and giggly and nervous around my Death Boy.
I looked over to the two of them, blushing and deep in their conversation, and I smiled.

But the calm air didn't last long as someone behind me bellowed, “LEAAAAAAA!!!” And jumped on my back knocking the air out of me, but also knocking a grin onto my face. I turned around and saw Leo with flushed cheeks and gleaming eyes, and I laughed. Another make out session with Calypso, I guessed as he sat down beside me. A couple of seconds later Calypso walked up to us with flushed lips, a flustered face and a hickey. She smiled sheepishly at Leo and sneered at me, which produced a glare from me and a pout from the fiery dude, “Why can't the two of you just get along. Do you know how hard it is having my girlfriend and my best friend at each other's throats all the time?”
I laughed at that but Calypso just frowned and pulled Leo closer to her. He shot me a sympathetic look and I smiled back, reassuring him that his girlfriend being a spoiled sport was totally fine.
I couldn't help but smile to myself.
This boy really did know how to make me feel better, even if he isn't aware of it himself.

Tle campfire was going great until I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. A young boy, around ten years old, with sea green eyes and windswept black hair. He was staring right into my eyes and I looked away, slightly freaking out. I turned back and he smiled at me. Woah, I thought, who is he and what is happening?!

I nudged Nico with my shoulder. He looked at me and then pointed his eyes to where I was looking. A deep scowl took its place on his face and I knew he was thinking of something, but I couldn't tell what.

I once again fixed my stare upon the new guy and, as if on cue, he stood up.

The amphitheatre went silent and the once orange fire turned a beautiful shade of green, with Sparks of blue.

He turned to me and started brightening up. I knew better than to look directly at him. This guy was a god and I would literally burn up if I looked directly at him while he revealed his true form. Once the light had died down, I turned back to face him. In the place of that ten year old boy, stood a man with green eyes and short salt and pepper hair in a t-shirt and a pair of khaki shorts. The books described him perfectly; Poseidon, god of the sea.

He smiled at me sympathetically and said “I heard your prayer, my child.”

A collective gasp escaped the crowd. It took me a few seconds to realize what was happening, but eventually, I looked up just in time to see the glowing green trident fade away. I had just been claimed by Poseidon. Poseidon;one of the Big Three.

I wasn't sure about how to react, so I did the reasonable thing. I ran and I didn't look back once. I ran to cabin 3. But then I changed my mind and raced down to the beach.

I sighed happily as my feet touched the soft sand, the waves of water lapping at my toes. Come to think of it, my parentage was pretty obvious, considering my appearance and interests. I sat down on the white sand. The sea looked beautiful with the stars twinkle over it in the dark, the moon sending soft beams of white light across the water.

My peace was short lived as Rachel Elizabeth Dare walked up to me, her eyes glowing green. This could only mean one thing; the Oracle of Delphi was here to give me a prophecy.

*WOoOOOooW! That was my longest chapter yet! Sadly, you'll have to wait at least a week for the next one, unless I feel a sudden spark of inspiration... See you later my dudes!*
