Steve Rogers, along with the rest of undecimated Avengers and Captain Marvel, has saved the whole universe from the evil doings of Thanos. They have undone the snap, bringing back many of the new generation of Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. He has chosen to retire along with his pals, Tony Stark (who ended up marrying Pepper Potts and starting a family), Thor Odinson (who ended up staying on Earth to protect humans and the remaining Asgardians that escaped with Valkyrie while trying to rebuild Asgard), and Clint Barton (who ended up going back to his family at the secret farm and focus on nurturing his relationship with his wife and kids).

Now that the war against Thanos is over, he finally has time to relax. He tries to reconnect with Sharon Carter.

STEVE'S P.O.V.

*dials phone number, the other end of the line rings*

I hope she answers. Please please answer.

PERSON ON THE OTHER END: Hello?

STEVE: Hi. Is this Sharon?

PERSON ON THE OTHER END: No, I'm sorry. I think you got the wrong number.

STEVE: Really? I must have dialed the number incorrectly. Sorry.

PERSON ON THE OTHER END: *ends phone call*

Huh. I don't think I made a mistake while typing in the numbers. I do think this is Sharon's number written on that piece of paper Nat gave me before she left. I'm going to try this again.

Steve redials the phone number even more slowly this time to be 100% sure he doesn't make a mistake with the phone number.

The other end of the line rings again.

STEVE: Hello?

PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE LINE: Hi.

STEVE: Is this Sharon Carter?

PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE LINE: Oh, it's you again.

STEVE: I beg your pardon?

PERSON ON THE OTHER END: I'm so sorry, sir. But I think you really got the wrong number. I'm not a "Sharon".

STEVE: I don't think I typed my number wrong. I really do apologize for calling your number again.

PERSON ON THE OTHER END: The person who gave you my number was probably tricking you.

STEVE: I guess so. What is your good name, ma'am?

PERSON ON THE OTHER END: This is Meg. And you are?

STEVE: I'm Steven. Really sorry to bother you again, Meg.

MEG: That's okay. Well.. it was nice meeting you over the phone, Steve.

STEVE: You too.

MEG: I hope you'll eventually figure out how to contact that Sharon of yours soon.

STEVE: I don't treat her like an object I own, ma'am.

MEG: Alright then. I'm gonna have to hang up. Bye Steven.

STEVE: Have a good day.

*phone call ends*

Goddammit. I think Romanoff played me again. Instead of me getting a hold of Sharon, she gives me another woman's number.

Steve realizes he hasn't opened another part of the paper Natasha gave him that was folded. He tries to open it and sees a note written on it. In small print, it reads:
