STEALING A GLANCE

chapter 1 - convincing parents

After the students of xyz (girls) college graduated they were really sad as many of them will be seperated from each other.. However, zoya was a bit more sad cuz she was not the one who makes frnds so easily and cant trust on any1 blindly... but once she makes someone as frnd she fullfills all the rights.

Now it was time for her to choose her university..

As she was a brilliant student, she wasnt worried for her result. She was confident tht she will pass with good numbers and do top..
She did top and her dream university (wilsenburgh )(just a random uni),she always wanted to go there and study and make her parents proud. However her dad (siddiquie ) kept a condition tht only if she gets the good grade she can go (this was only to tease her as he obviously knew tht she will definetely do top)

In the morning....

(Knocks her parents room door)
Zoya: abbu!! Ammi uthiye aaj hum faisla sunn kar hi rahegai ap hame pichle 2 dino se hamari baat ko ghooma rahe hai.(the decision was of zoya going to the uni)
Waseem: zoya abhi abhi toh subah huwi hai thora sa intezar kijiya jab tak ap ki ammi hum sab k liye nashta banati hai.aur yash ko bhi toh college jana hai. Jab sab khane ki table pe aik saath bethe gay tabhi hum apna faisla sunaye gai.
Zoya: par abbu.. is sab mai toh kafi waqt lag jaye ga. Hum aur sabr nahi kar saktey
Roshnaq: zoya! Ap toh aisi ziddi nahi thi aur kehtay hai sabr ka phal meetha hota hai. Ab ap jaiye aur apney un do kamchor bhen bhai ko uthaye.
Zoya:( makes a sad and annoyed face ) hum ja rahey hai lekin ap yeh mat samjhye ga k hum faisla nahi sune gai

Waseem to roshnaq.
Waseem: ap toh janti haina hamey zoya ko delhi bhejne mai koi masla nahi par hum in duniye walo ka kya kare. Hame apni beti par poora bharosa hai lekin duniya walo pe nahi hai. Hum do dino sai yehi soch rahey hai k hum karey to karey kya.
Roshnaq: lekin ap ka zoya se kiya hua wada us ka kya. Aur kab tak ap zoya ko duniya ki hawa se door rakhe gai. Aik na aik din toh wo zuroor seekh jaye gi burey logo ka samna karna.

On the other side aditya was convincing his dad to go delhi.

Harsh: Adi mumbai mai hazaro universities hai jis mai tum admission le sakte ho aur tumhare grades par toh wo tumhe special course bhe de day gai.
Adi: par dad mujhe wilsenburgh uni hi jana. I know dad k ap mujhey door nahi bhejna chahte lekin jaha par mera interest hai i think mai waha parhu ga toh aur bhi kamyaab hoon ga .

Anjana is coming down the stairs and adi suddenly gets up from the chair and runs towards her.

(He sees her in a pleading way and knows tht his dad can never refuse her.)

Adi: Ma! Aj toh ap chand se bhi zyada chamak rahi ho.
Anjana understood he definetely wants something.
Anjana: Adi apna na yeh maska lagana band kar aur thora side pe ho dekh tere papa akele hi nashta kar rahe hai.
Anjana lets out a small laugh and goes towards the table.while adi gets annoyed.
Adi: ma ap bhi dad ki side pe ho mujhey pata hai. Meri toh yaha pe kisi ko fikr hi nahi hai
Anjana: adi jab tujhey yeh baat pata hai ki mai aur tere dad ek hi side k hai toh phir kue lagata rehta hai mujhey maskey.

Just then a beautiful girl is shown coming down from stairs and thts pooja.

Pooja: maa! Paa! Yeh subah subah hamara ye aali shaan sa ghar ek machli bazaar kue bana hua hai... aur yehhh...

Adi doesnt even let her complete and drags her to the side

Pooja: good morning bhayu!! Maine toh apko notice hi nahi kiya. Ap mujhey asie kheech k kue lai aye.
Adi: good morning aur woh bhi meri. Ho hi na jaye aisa. Pooja mujhey na tumsey ek kaam hai.
Pooja: bhayu ap aisa waisa kue bol rahe ho shub shub bolo aur kya kaam hai ap k liye toh jaan bhi hazir hai.
Adi: jaan toh tum apni apney paas hi rakho kisi aur k liye bachaa k rakhna bass dad ko meri wilsenburgh uni jane k liye mana le. Please please bass yeh ek kaam kardo mera wada hai mai bhi tumhari koi ek shart jo tum kahogi woh maanu ga pakka..
Pooja thinks for a while and nods a yes and moves towards the table

Anjana: pooja, arjun nhi utha kya ? Victor jao ja k arjun ko bhi utha do.
While mahi is not concentrating on her breakfast and harshjana notice this

Harsh: ( being a bit concerned as she is his only daughter asks) pooja bete sab theek toh haina? Ap ka exams kaisa chal raha hai? Koi problem toh nahi hai.
Pooja: nahi pa! Pa ap bhayu ko jane de na. Please dekhe na bhai ne kitni mehnat kar k kitne ache grades le k aye. Aur agar wo nahi jaye gai toh unko kitna bura lage ga.
Harsh: baat toh tum sahi kar rahi ho lekin woh kabhi bhi mumbai se bahir nahi gya aur aise hi mai ussey akele delhi nahi bhej sakta. Koi toh hona chahye.

Pooja recalls tht shart wala moment where adi says he will accept her one shart.
Pooja: pa! Bhayu akele toh nahi ja rahe

Arjun who was lsning everything from up and decides to interrupt.

Arjun: haa dad bhai toh mere saat ja rahe hai ryt pooja. (While saying this he lifts up his collar in sign of proudness)
Pooja: nahi tumharey saath janey sai behtr hai k bhayu jaye hi na. Mai ja rahi hu bhayu k saath.

Meanwhile adi who was witnessing all this started coughing badly.
Adi: uff itna bara drama . Dad mai bass delhi tak ja raha hu koi singapore nahi..
Harsh thinks for a while
Harsh: acha adi tu ja sakta hai lekin
Before lsning only he hugs him from behind
Adi: u know dad ur the best .
Harsh: ha ha beta pata hai lekin pooja ko saath le kay jana ho ga takey koi toh ho tumhara khayal rakhney k liye.
Adi nods and jumps in excitement.

Arjun: par dad mera kya hoga mai toh yaha pe akela sar(burn) jao ga.
Adi: arjun tu bhi ajana college khatam kar k ( he just finished highschool, now gonna start wd college)
Arjun gets happy lsning this meanwhile harsh is just laughing at them and thanking god for this much happiness in life.

On the other side in siddique house

In yash's room:
Zoya is seen seperating the curtains allowing the sunlight in the room. While yash's sleep gets disturbed

Zoya: yash uthiya jaldi se. Aj apka exam hai na. Chaliye abu bhi apko bula rahe hai.
Gets up suddenly with a freak expression on his face
Yash: allah! Mai toh bhul hi gaya tha . Zoya di ap nahi janti hum poori raat parhtay rahe aur kisi nai coffee bhi nahi banake di!
Zoya: (she teases him knowing how much he hates the topic of marriage for any1 of us let it be noor , she or he himself) koi baat nahi yash kal raat nahi coffee nahi mili toh kya hua. Ap thora saal intezar kijye ap ko har roz coffee bhi milay gi aur coffee waly bhi (refering to his future wife). With a big smile on her face.
Yash: di phir toh mujhey coffee se hi nafrat ho jaye gi aur kya ap subah subah mera itna acha mood kharab karney aye hai (wd a disappointed face)
Zoya: acha uthiye aur niche aye.

With this she goes back in her room to wake up noor
She has a very different understanding wd her sister noor.
Zoya jumps on her bed and tickles noor to wake her up.

Zoya: good morning!
Noor: good morning she says wd a wide smile on her face.
She loves the way her appi wakes her up.
Zoya : acha uthiye aur fresh ho kar niche jaldi se aye
With this she dashes out the room.
Noor to herself: allah ap hamari appi ko hamesha is hi tarah hasta muskurate rakhna . (And smiles a bit to herself).

Well adi's parents r convinced and obviously zoya's parents will also get convinced lets see how...

And i dont know much abt india so i just took mumbai and delhi as the cities.
