Wanted- The Dark Kingdom
Chapter 24: The First Jewel
A wind from the North blows,
bringing with it those who lie below.
With them, spreads the infection,
to what may be the darkest connection.
A crown forged from the tears of good and bad,
will choose the king whose army stands.
The light leads and the dark follows,
to the first jewel of the girl who borrowed
Then, the dark leads and the light follows,
to the second jewel of a man's true horror
A king shall be crowned where the first king stepped,
putting an end to their world's unrest.
Even though my cell was located in the lowest part of the palace, I could still hear the thunder that boomed outside. It was raining too, so bad that a curfew was set for when the city should close down it's shops and offices for the day. For days now, the weather left no one at mercy. I thought it would bother Percy, considering the fact the city would have to stop working for a few days. But while I was cleaning his office the other day, while the door to the office's door was left wide open, I saw him stop be a window in the hallway. For long minutes, he stood and watched the rain, anger and what looked like fear stitched across his face. He didn't see me watching him, not when he flattened his hand on the window, closed his eyes and within seconds, slowed down the speed at which the rain fell. I knew he was powerful. But I never knew his power extended to the point where he could control the weather. It dawned on me at that moment that Percy was causing the storm, but I couldn't understand why. Maybe he was testing out his powers. Maybe he was learning to control whatever lived within him. Whatever it is, I fear him having full control of it but I also fear the possible consequences and disasters that could occur if he can't control them as well. Nevertheless, all those who stand in the way of such power, they won't be walking away victorious.

It was a cold night. The wind howled and screamed violently, leaving no mercy for anyone daring to venture through the night. A small black raven dared, however, flapping it's wings against the wind with all it's might. It soared through the night sky, shadowed by the full moon's silver glow. Along with the wind, the unbearable cold slowed the raven down. And the raven couldn't afford to be late. The consequences might be too great.
The raven opened it's wings wider, aiming to surface on one of the palace's balconies. For just a split second, it hesitated. Debating whether the possible consequences are worth facing. Nevertheless, it continued, knowing all too well it cannot hide forever. He will always find him.
The young raven landed on the balcony, in front of it's wide open glass doors. Wind began to pick up at it's feet, black wind, rising in circular motion, as if the wind was climbing a spiral staircase. The wind widened and quickened, covering the raven and rising above it. Once the wind was as tall as a man, it all at once, disappeared.
