{Zara's POV}
When I woke up this morning I was so excited to meet my wolf and mate but little did I know this day would be nothing like I expected.
"Wake up muffin" my parents say
"ugh five more minutes" I responded
"You don't wanna miss all the birthday pancakes do you"
When my mom says that I immediately hop out of bed. I'm the youngest of my 3 siblings. We're quadruplets (two boys and two girls) so we all share a birthday. My parents birthday tradition is to wake us up in birth order on our birthday so if I don't get up now there won't be any pancakes left.
I go to shower but it's just my luck that my sisters taking a shower so I have to go to my parents bathroom to shower. As I'm walking past their door I hear my mom and dad talking.
"Do you think they will be mates" my mom asks
"I hope not" my dad responds
"I don't know how they would take it if they were"
"Lets just pray to the moon goddess that they aren't"
When I hear that I walk in.
"What are you guys talking about" I ask
"Nothing" they in unison
I decide not to fight them on it so I walk in their bathroom and start the shower. As I'm under the water I start to wonder who they could be talking about. What if they are talking about us? That would be gross. I hurry and finish my shower and go downstairs to eat breakfast. While we're eating I notice my parent mindlinking.
" Family meeting after everyone is finished eating" my dad says
So when I finish I go sit on the sofa and wait for everyone. When they are all finished we all squeeze on the sofa. My dad stands in the middle of the living room right in front of the tv.
" Well I'm just going to say it, you all might be mates"
When my dad says that we all look at each other with a look of disgust.
"You've got to be shitting me" my oldest brother Zarynn says
"That's the most disgusting thing on the planet if the are my mates I will reject them" my sister Zahara says
"Ewwwwww" my brother Zoshua says
I'm so shocked I don't know what to say so I just sit there. I just get up and walk to my room to get dressed and leave for school. As I'm leaving my mom tries to stop me but I just ignore her. When I get to school I find my best friend Marya and tell her everything she looks like she wants to throw up.
"Well you'll find out in and hour"
"Yeah we will all find out soon but lets hope that that's not the case"
" So what if you guys are mates"
"Were gonna reject each other"
"Have you all talked about it'
"No"
When she said that I realized we hadn't talked about it
"Guys "
"What do you want Zara please tell me you're not about to suggest we stay together" Zahara says
"Eww why would I suggest that"
"I don't know just checking"
"No I was gonna say let's all meet in the woods"
"Okay I'll tell everyone"
Just as the bell rings I walk right out the front door. I walk to the woods and wait. I start to panic because in twenty minutes I'll find out if my siblings are my mates. Pretty soon I see them all walking in my direction.
"So whats the plan" Zarynn asks
"We are going to reject each other" Zahara says
"I've been thinking about it and the moon goddess does not make mistakes if she wants us together then who are we to deny that" Zoshua says
"We are siblings that's who we are. I don't know if I could be a good mate if my mates are the people who I grew up viewing as nothing but siblings. When you're mates with someone you're supposed to love each other in a way that siblings don't love each other and unless anyone here has a confession I don't think any of us has thought of the other in that way" I say
I couldn't help but notice how Zarynn and Zoshua are looking at each other. Maybe some us could be mates but not all of us i know Zahara would freak out. I don't know how I would react.
"Lets make a deal that when we find out we won't react until all of us know" Zarynn says
"Okay" Zoshua says
"Cool with me" i say
"I guess" Zahara says
I pull my phone out of my pocket and count dos the seconds until Zarynn knows. At exactly 1:23 I see Zarynn look around and then he looks down at his shoes I can't tell if his mate is one of us or not. At 1:25 Zoshua looks around and then smiles to himself. Next is Zahara and at 1:28 she looks around and lets out a breath. Next is me so at 1:30 I look around at each of my siblings hoping that I will feel no pull.
