As his hands trembled, he dropped the pen. Gun to skull, he took a final breath before the door broke open. It was an awful sight. Kevin restrained him as Adam wrestled him for the gun. It was relatively easy seeing his eyes were welled up with tears and he was weakened by grief. With the gun gone, Voight stepped in. "Jay..." he whispered hoarsely. Voight couldn't say it would be alright, because it wouldn't be. Voight had no idea what to do to comfort the wailing veteran on the floor. All he could do was hold the man as Burgess called 911 for a psych case.
