First up was the 50 meter dash with Tsuyu Asui and Tenya Iida. As soon as it started, Iida zoomed ahead with his engines in his legs, gaining an impressive score of 3.04 seconds. Asui hopped along, earning a score of 5.58 seconds.
Then Aoyama Yuga with Mina Ashido went, and a few other students later it was Bakugo and Izuku's turn.
"...I see, so Asui uses her frog-like qualities to hop along with her legs. Her quirk must be frog-related, or rather giving her the attributes of a frog. Hmm, no visible weaknesses... but Iida on the other hand, while incredibly fast, lacks other important qualities.
I see many weaknesses that I-err, others can exploit, but with work they could easily strengthen themselves. And Aoyama's weakness is having to be the center of attention, hmm, is he really fit for the job of a hero? Thinking about what it means to be a hero, everyone's answers are different, but Aoyama might struggle with his passion and his quirk, while strong, has drawbacks that cannot be ignored..."
Izuku went on muttering, drawing the attention of all the students present. They just stared, thinking, "...Scary."
"Hey, Deku, get your ass over here so I can beat you!" Bakugo growled, then stomped over to the starting line.
Izuku just looked at him with bored, tired eyes before following and standing behind the line. "Start!" said the robot machine, and Bakugo propelled himself forward with explosions, and flew towards the finish line. "EXPLOISIVE TURBO SPEED" Bakugo shouted.
'What did I even expect? Of course - just because he got some damn stupid quirk doesn't mean he's anywhere equal to me!' Bakugo thought, grinning insanely, until he saw a blur shoot past him.
It was a cheetah with green eyes.
"2.89 seconds" the machine beeped pleasantly as the cheetah sped past it and then put its paws forward into a halt, making a dust cloud around it.
"4.13 seconds" the machine responded again as Bakugo made it to the end. Everyone was praising Izuku as he shifte back into human form. Gritting his teeth, Bakugo dismissed this angrily. There were still other tests. That stupid nerd just got lucky.
The tests went on, with Izuku dominating every event. Even during the Grip Strength evaluation, Izuku managed to beat Shoji's insane score of 540 kg by using his lion power and scoring 570 kg.
Finally it came to the ball throw, and Bakugo was fed up. Winding up his arm, Bakugo threw the ball with impressive force, and sent it off with an incredible explosion. "DIE!" He screamed.
Unamused, Aizawa held up his machine, which read 705.2 meters.
"WOW!" The class praised Bakugo, crowding around him. "That's an insane score!" Pikachu dude complimented. "SO MANLY!" A spiky red-haired manly guy sobbed. "MANLY TEARS!"
"Izu-Midoriya" Aizawa said, stopping himself from saying 'Izuku'.
'Dammit, we're in school, I have to call him by his last name formally. Tch, what a pain.' (what reference is this readers - do you know?)
"Midoriya," Aizawa continued, "It's your turn. Izuku nodded and stepped into the circle.
"Oh, and Midoriya," Aizawa added. "If you half-ass this again, then you'll be in a much worse hell than now." Aizawa grinned creepily, and Midoriya shuddered.
"WHAAAT!? HE WASN'T GIVING IT HIS ALL!?" The class exclaimed in shock, and Izuku grimaced sheepishly. "How did you know, Aizawa-sensei?" Midoriya replied uneasily.
Aizawa smirked. "Of course I know when you're giving it your full strength and when you're not even trying." Aizawa said. "After all, you take after me" Aizawa said in an undertone so no one would hear him.
