˗ˏˋ As a general introduction, hi, you can call me Pearl, or Pearl C Somerset for something fancier, and I go by she/her. My sexuality? A big confusing crisis like my life🤠🤠 I live in a desert and I have two cats. I've been on here for,, holy shit, nearly four years? I'm fifteen, and I never fuckin learned how to draw, but I still try my best, both at art and at trying to keep my self deprecation quiet. Let's be real here, there's enough of that in the world already
˗ˏˋ Since I like putting myself in categories, I'm neutral [boring] good and a total hufflepuff. Ig I'm an infj too, huge introvert for sure. I was once told I'm a cinnamon roll and it was the greatest day of my life
˗ˏˋ Also,, I swear. A lot. I'm fully aware of my immaturity and I embrace it👌 heart emojis!!
˗ˏˋ overall guidelines:
- if you make fanart for me I will love you unconditionally!! Same for supporting me with comments or even jus voting. I don't mind vote spams, even if they're a bit overwhelming. It means a lot if you don't silent read <3
- I do accept constructive criticism! I'm aware some people online don't but I want to make that clear. Yes, it stings, but I much prefer the improvement that comes with it to calm complacency. If you see something off about my art, feel free to mention it!
- I shouldn't even have to say this but I make lgbt content and have many characters within the lgbt, so any homo/transphobes, kindly leave now, I'm not sure how you've even survived in most art books on here tbh. Pearl said gay rights!!
- I try to have equal focus for improving my fundies and making self indulgent characters, drawing professionally or even jus doing commissions one day would be amazing but more than anything I want to continue drawing as much as I can

˗ˏˋ my supplies:
- I almost always make finished pieces digitally. I have a smallish Wacom tablet [I'm not sure which one] and I love it dearly. For programs, I use FireAlpaca 90% of the time, it has fantastic, easy features and it's free!
- if I do make something traditional, it's usually with my staedtler pens and prismacolor pencils, plus my gellyroll pens once in a while. I use jus plain mechanical pencil for sketching
