Nonotthebigproject, actually one I haven't talked about surprisingly! And part of the reason I've been even more stressed than usual lmao, I can't believe I haven't overshared this yet his is so out of character

Explanation, sorry for the excess details, the paragraph starting w/ 'I told myself' is the only rlly important one before you see the art

The past four days I've been going to a comics art class at a local college that my parents were nice enough to pay for, admittedly I was terrified to go [a whole class full of people I don't know for eight hours a day working on an ambitious project at a college??] but I stuck it out and did it. I'm admittedly rlly, rlly relieved it's over, but I do feel I learned a lot and it was nice to have the resources I did. I met new artists, some of which were hella inspiring, and our teacher was too nice for words, bless her honestly she was so sweet,,

I told myself at the beginning I'd finish my comic no matter what. The surprising part? I did! I think I was technically the only one. Unfortunately, that meant the entire thing was CRAZY rushed, far from my best work and embarrassingly amateur in terms of coloring especially, plus the whole concept's a little silly,, the skin tones are also extremely off btw. I also used the existing cast! This is an au but it's still them in terms of personality, I thought it'd be fun and it saved me the work of coming up with new characters admittedly

It's seven pages, and ig I'm glad I had the perseverance to finish. I learned a lot about page flow! Not that I took many risks but it was a good leading experience

Lots of things happened that I won't get into but it was def interesting to be in a mix of twelve-fourteen year old wannabe mangakas who wear cat ears, humble yet crazy talented cartoonists my age, and everything in between, all the while hearing people describe their OCs with things like 'he's a good boi, a classy boi, love that boi' out loud. I will mention that when we showed our comics one guy said my style was like if JaidenAnimations and CypherDen had a baby and tbh I've never felt more honored [it also got called cute, a lot, I'm so flattered shjdhdh thanks guys, although now I'm wondering if I have it in me to draw scary ever lmao I like cute tho]
