It felt weird as Lesley almost felt like she was being watched.
Or it's just probably the crowd. Well, why wouldn't they? Having the intimidating man himself—Claude, who is literally being in the center of attraction to many in the part. And it did not stopped Zilong to lure all the ladies to him. In every station they go; like literally, every girl is out being all shy and giddy as they see Claude.
Let's face it; Lesley doesn't know anything about the new him. Except the rude spot he has though she gets easily used to it, and pretty much his none stop draining of money in his wallet that still left a question mark in her head, had not been for Claude who paid everything Lesley played.
First they went to those stores where they sell hats.
The places where Lesley and Zilong were literally the only ones who enjoyed. Not regarding Alucard's utter bickering of how "not sexy" it was to wear Mickey's Wizardly hat, as Claude was pretty much hissing in disgust as Roger is being a total killjoy for not even wearing a single damn hat.
“Wow, you guys are total killjoys.”
“What gave you the mind to think that we'd be capable of wearing such undignified accessories?”
She giggled, at every exhanged they had. She finds it interesting though, on how they always kept their cool or no matter how idiotic and different the situation is that is happening at hand, all of them would still put their odds away and go along with the flow.
“Why hello there, pretty lady,”
Like how Zilong attempts to flirt with every girl that rejected him.
“...what a hopeless prick.”
“Well, at least he's still optimistic about it.”
Not even Alucard and Roger would approve.
And she doesn't even know if Claude was enjoying himself.
She only knows that he's been pretty much paying for everything, LITERALLY. She doesn't even know as to how he got that money. Though surely, she knows soon that when they're somehow alone, he'd be the old Claude again.
But she's still having fun. It's as if Gusion isn't playing anymore in her head. And she has to admit that hanging out with the guys was as fun as letting the girls making party plans for her. No offense.
She had been disregarding at all the odds.
Lesley watches as the ferris wheel was packed and was already moving. She sighs, rather hard to say if she was tired or not as she is still having that need to keep the fun going on. Alucard, Zilong, and Claude doesn't seem tired as Roger doesn't really care at all.
And that, Claude seemed to caught her aggravation. “Do you really want to ride on it so bad?”
She stares at him, wide-eyed yet still kept her composure as she shook her head. “No, not really. It's packed so I guess I should call this a night.”
Lesley glances at his back, noticing a girl fiddling shyly with her fingers. “I think she likes you.”
“And she seems like she needs a hero to come rescue her. Don't worry guys, I got this.” Zilong grins, approaching the girl with high spirits and confidence.
“Hopeless.” Roger grumbles. Saying the same word for the fifth time.
“Seriously? He's at it again?” Alucard's eyebrows furrow with worrisome.
Worrisome as in for the good of his reputation.
She could've sworn that she'd heard Claude swearing beneath his breath. And was quite surprised to know that he has this side that isn't comfortable with much attention. As it therefore claims that he's changed indeed. Not in a way where he was some chick guy before but, in a way where takes things in a more practical way.
