Your touch burns over these scars
you have painted on my body
in such an array of constellations.
My elegant perfume
radiates through the peachy clouds
and blood
splatters the shattered teacups
that lay on the marble floor of this castle.
After all,
I am not the princess I once read about
in fairytales of my childhood youth.
