*Kris was sitting at the dinner table, waiting for Toriel to finish preparing the pie she promised. While she waited for the pie to finish baking, Kris however just sat at the table.

Kris:.....Yee. Hey mom?

Toriel: What is it, my child?

Kris: Eh. Nothing much...just bored.

*Kris laid their head down on the table as they waited for Toriel to come check on the pie. And eventually, she did. Toriel walks into the kitchen, passed Kris, and towards the oven to see if the pie was ready.

Toriel: Hmm. Not quite done yet I'm afraid.

*Toriel closed the oven door back, and then started to head back to her seat, when she noticed something odd with Kris. Although Kris was suspiciously odd all together. She turns to them and briefly asks if they are alright.

Toriel: My child? Are you feeling alright?

*Kris heard his mother's question and perked up.

Kris: Hm? Oh yes, I'm okay.

*Kris then lays their head back on the table.

Toriel: Well that's good to hear, my child. The pie will be ready in a little while, alright?

*Kris gives a thumbs up in response. Toriel then returns to her seat and gets back to the book she was reading. "100 Ways to Collect Snails". Meanwhile, Kris just sat at the table, desperately waiting for the pie to finish.
