I honestly never expected that in a single week, everything could change so drastically. That everything I lived for wasn't what I thought it was. That the things I did and people I knew, weren't what I thought they were.
And as my vacation came to an end and my seven days were up, I realized that I couldn't live the way I did before. That things had to change and I would be the one to change them.
That the customs and expectations that were planted on me and everyone else, can't and shouldn't control us. That we have a voice and story that no one ever hears. And I'm going to make sure that they are heard, that voices aren't silence. That maybe we could live how we want to and how society wants us to.
And it was all thanks to a boy called April. And his stupid, endless love for the rain.
