One month ago. One month ago, I had left my adopted family and found my real one. I still miss them and missed having a sister my age. However, I had the help of some young guards, that were from my palace, to live on New Earth and watch over them.
The night that I was there, we had a party, and I got acquainted with everyone. However, I didn't want to stay there. I couldn't. Bane had been sending threats, from wherever he was at, and I needed to make sure that they were safe. I, also, had to be away from there.
So, Ralph, Laura, David, and I moved back to New Earth, in the middle of the night, and we now live in Arizona.
However, I've been keeping an eye on Janet and the parents, like I told them I would. And, that was what I was doing, making sure that they were alive.
I stood on the other side of the street, waiting for David to come get me and Ralph, from making sure that they were safe. I watched Janet and Henson, a younger guard and a close friend of mine, go back to her house.
Henson looked at me and nodded his head, silently, when Janet wasn't looking. He turned to look at her a smile on his face. I knew that he cared about her, and I knew that one day, when all this was done, I might have to let him leave the Army and Angesia. I knew that I would have to let him live on New Earth, living with Janet. However, right now, he was under my command as an Army that to protect this family and make sure that Bane doesn't get to them.
"They look good together," Ralph said, from beside me. "I think they are going to get married or something." He sighed and nudged me. "They are fine. Your guards will protect them, if he comes around." He looked at me, knowing I was worried. "Beside, you have others that are watching out for them."
I nodded my head and looked to see a falcon in a tree, beside their house. Our eyes locked, and the bird bowed it's head as a sign of respect. "I know," I replied. "The Companions have been kind enough to watch over them. However, I still want to make sure that they are safe. It is my job."
Ralph sighed and nodded his head. "I understand." He nudged my arm, teasingly. "Don't be such a party-pooper."
I shook my head and turned to look at him. "You are crazy," I replied, causing him to chuckle. A smile graced my lips, glad that he was here with me.
A car pulled up in front of us, and I knew that it was David. "Come on, let's go," I said, getting up. "We did promise Laura that we would be there in time for dinner."
Ralph laughed and walked to the car. He opened the door for me and bowed his head. "Princess," he said, waiting for me to get into the back seat.
I shook my head and got in, followed by him. I didn't know what the future would hold, but I knew that I could take care of anything that will be thrown at me, with the help of my group, when we collect the rest of the members.
Now, we just have to wait for a stone to call on someone else. I didn't know when, where, how, or why, but I knew that I wasn't going to be alone. I had my family with me, and I knew that I'll never be alone.
