chapter 28 | what's happening?

Jungkook's POV

*Flashback*

I was walking back home from school and it was already pretty late because I had to make up a test after school. On my way home, I knew everyone else would have been eating dinner by now besides Minseo as she had her work shift. So, instead of going home, I decided to visit her. I've been wanting to tell Minseo for a while now about how I feel about her. Especially since Taehyung and her weren't that serious. Well.. I mean they've been a thing for like a year but it's only been official for a few months. As I was walking, I bump into Hoseok.

"Oh. Jungkook? Are you coming back home?" Hoseok says looking at me and I tilt my head as it was a yes and a no.

"What? Are you going somewhere else?" He says and I nod my head.

"I was going to go visit Minseo.. She'll get off her shift soon." I said and Hoseok shrugs before staring at me.

"You've been weird lately.. Do you perhaps.. Do you like Minseo?" He says and I gulp as I didn't know if I made it that obvious. But Taehyung doesn't know so I guess everything is going good. He can also be dense too though.

"How'd you know?"

"Are you kidding? You were so obvious to me. The others don't know and aren't even suspicious. But still. The way you look at her." He says and I sigh defeatedly. I nod knowing what he was talking about.

"I'll go with you.." He says and I smile nodding instantly as I was happy he would come along when I'm this nervous. He tilts his head toward the direction so we could start walking. Walking down the street, we see Taehyung so we thought he was picking Minseo up. But instead, what we saw next instead made us stop in our steps.

"Hey.. Have you told her yet?" A girl says going up to him and hugging him. Hoseok and I look at each other a bit awkwardly before looking back at the two.

"No. I can't.."

"When are you going to tell her? You know she doesn't deserve you.." The girl says making me gulp. My eyebrows furrow as I listen more carefully.

"She can't give you what I can give you. I treat you like the man you are but all she does is baby you.." She says and my anger was already beginning to grow. I can't believe he would do this especially when I backed off for him. After waiting for the girl to leave, Hoseok and I decided to walk out as if we didn't know anything. And that's what we did so we all just picked Minseo up and walked back home.

*End of Flashback*

"Jungkook! YOU SNAP OUT OF IT! BOTH OF YOU ARE GOD DAMN EMBARRASSING! YOU BOTH DON'T DESERVE MINSEO! AND JUNGKOOK! SHE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE OTHER TIME!" Hoseok says making me let go of Taehyung. I look at Hoseok realizing what I had blurted out. I covered my mouth gasping. I look over to Minseo who was staring at me blinking her eyes a bit.

"Oh my god.. I'm so sorry.." I said half whispering. I gulp a bit nervously before she stands up quietly and slowly makes her way out the door. Jin runs out after her.

Jin's POV

"Minseo!" I say pulling HER shoulder only to see her TEARs running down her cheek making me WONDER if she actually believes running out is the ANSWER. PERSONNAAAAAA

"He never loved me.." Minseo says stopping.

"What matters is you LOVE YOURSELF! You SPEAK YOURSELF!" (Okay just ignore this.. I was feeling really weird.)

[Real Thing]

"Minseo!" I say running and finally catching up to her. She stops in her steps so I grab her shoulders making her look at me. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"There's really no point.. He never cared.. Did he?", She says. "I mean it's not the first. No.. NO. It's the second time and I didn't even know about that either."

"Minseo.. You know he loved you."

"Loved? I see.. It's past tense.." She says making me realize what I said. I literally just trapped myself in my own words.

"You know that's not what I meant to say.. Taehyung.. I can't speak for him anymore because I don't know this Taehyung either. But I know he must have a reason to all this." I said and Minseo scoffs.

"Don't wait up on me for dinner. I'm leaving tonight." Minseo says making me panic. But before I could do anything, she starts heading back to the house. I run after her, screaming her name and trying to set her mind straight. Everyone looks over to us as we enter.

"Minseo. Come on. Don't do this." I said but she slams the door to her room anyway. I knew she was packing inside so I tried to open the door but nobody knew where the keys to the doors went after we lost it a couple years ago. And we were stupid enough to not get it replaced. A few minutes passed by and she came out with a suitcase and a bag.

"Minseo.. You don't mean for this to happen." I said shaking my head but she ignores me and instead walks down the stairs.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook says and I glare at him.

"If only you hadn't said anything!" I said and Minseo rolls her eyes which were just full of madness and confusion.

"We all know it's not Jungkook's fault." She says. Jungkook walks over and stops Minseo.

"Wait just one second. I have something to get you before you leave." He says and runs up to his room. A few minutes passed and Jungkook comes back with a suitcase and a bag as well. My eyes widen as I start to freak out.

"I swear to god. One of you leave that door, I will not forgive you!" I said warning them but both of them looked at me before walking out that stupid door.

"DAMN IT!" I scream hitting my fist onto a wall. I flinch at the pain but it hurt more to see this happening. My fists were starting to turn white as I slowly look over to Taehyung.

"It's all your fault." I said quietly. I closed my eyes trying to process everything.

"I'm sorry.." Was all he could say. I chuckle at him stupidly before looking at him dead straight. I smirk completely making fun of him before walking off to my room.

Minseo's POV

"Why'd you come?" I said trying to calm myself down. Now that we were outside, both of us needed to calm down. Jungkook stares at me and takes my luggage.

"I had my stuff already packed because I just always had it ready in case something happened. Minseo. I'm ready for this. For us. I'll treasure you the way Taehyung couldn't. He missed his chance." He says and I sigh before looking back up at him.

"Let's just find a place to stay first."
