Chapter 12:
“Lunch!” Miles gets in at Kathryn’s office coz its lunch time.
Kath closes her laptop, “wait lang, let me text my husband” and grabbed her phone from the right side of her table.
“wow…” Miles sat down on the chair in front of her “mukhang nag iiba na ang ihip ng hangin ah”
Kathryn just smiled while texting.
“Mahal mo sya talaga no?”
“Ano?”
“Hmm… wag ka na mag deny, mahal na mahal mo talaga si DJ” Kathryn looked at her while Miles continues what she’s saying, “Kathryn, kung hindi mo talaga mahal si DJ matagal mo ng iniwan yon, kaya mo naman buhayin mag isa si Katrina but you still choose to stick with him”
Kathryn took a deep breath and puts down her phone, “ganon, siguro talaga… pag mahal mo yung tao, no matter how pain he gives you, mas gugustuhin mong lagpasan yon with him kesa maramdaman yung pain of losing him… mas masakit yon”
“wow! Wow wow wow, Kathryn, is that you?!”
“hay nako! Halika na nga!”
Kathryn and Miles went down to the hotel restaurant to have their lunch ng maalala ni Kathryn ang mga nangyari last night.
“Ay! I have a story to tell!”
“OMG! Mukhang juicy yan hah!”
“Alam mo ba na hindi pa din tinitigilan ni Julia ang asawa ko”
“What?! Why? What did she do?”
“Kagabi kasi DJ got home super late, I was calling him pero nakapatay ang phone—“
“OMG! Don’t tell me may nangyari na naman sa kanila?!”
“No, let me finish, okay. So ayun na nga, I can’t contact him, he arrived at around 11 in the evening at sobrang bad trip na ko sa kanya, I slapped him then I asked him kung nakikipag kita na naman sya sa kabit nya”
“OMG!!! Then he said, yes I’m sorry?!!!!!!”
“NO!!! Miles naman e, hindi pa ko tapos” Kathryn sighed, “he said, no and kaya nakapatay ang phone nya kasi tinatawagan na naman sya ni Julia”
“What?!”
“Yeah, so I called her using his number, akala nya si DJ, she was confessing her sweet love for my husband, nakakakilabot!”
