Aspenfur's eyes widened with horror as the mud passes the she-cat's bellyfur. "Quick, find a stick!" He orders, Sweetpaw running away. Honeybloom pushes past Aspenfur, stopping at the edge of the mud. "Don't worry." She says, leaning forwards and touching noses with her apprentice. "We'll get you out."
Sweetpaw appears, holding a long stick. Honeybloom and Aspenfur quickly take it and push it towards Needlepaw. The terrified apprentice grips it with her teeth as her shoulders sink into the mud. Both Honeybloom and Aspenfur begin to tug.
