The shining moon shined on FireStar as he fell asleep reading to his children Stray- Paw and Wolf Paw. Stray Paw a sleek black cat with red paws. Wolf Paw a ginger tom with sharp claws and blue eyes. FireStar heard a noise "fwoo"! Another noise "hss"! It sounded like a cat, could it be Shadow Clan (he thought). He peeked his head out of the den, right then Stray Paw and Wolf Paw woke up. As he peeked his head a cat slashed at him. Luckily he dodged in time. It was SharpStar (Shadow Clan leader). Behind him was all of the Shadow Clan warriors.
FireStar told Stray Paw and Wolf Paw to run and get Winter Claw and the warriors from the warriors den. FireStar jumped in and tackled SharpStar, pinned him to the ground and clawed right across the eye. SharpStar counterattacks with a kick in the throat. Winter Claw and all the warriors come and start attacking the Shadow Clan warriors. FireStar charges at SharpStar and digs his claws through his chest, killing him. In a matter of seconds shadows come upon the entire forest.
