An ebony hedgehog walks through the city of mobitropilis. It was 10 at night as he walks home which is just outside the city limits. A chilled breeze of winter air blows through shadow's jacket. He opens the door to be welcomed by the comforting warmth of his house. He steps inside, takes a shower, gets dressed and lays in his bed, reading his book. Suddenly startled by a ring of his cell phone, he reaches over to his nightstand and answers it.
"Hello?"
"H-hey shads its Sonic. C-can I come over and stay the night!?"
"Wait...What!?"
"Shadow before you say no, just say yes, please!"
"Why do you-I mean why my house?"
"I will explain if you say yes."
"I-well-um okay you can come over..."
"Ok I'll be over in 15, bye!"

The black hedgehog just sits there, dazed. "What the hell just happened?"
