You're probably wondering who I am.

First, I'm a Seer. I can predict many things, but there was one accident I couldn't predict.

The death on my best friend, (Y/N).

Flashback:
She laughed once more.

"I knew you were going to do that!" I say, but laughed at myself.

My owl hooted and seemed to laugh to.

"So, you also knew about yourself falling?" (Y/N) laughed.

"Yes... no," I say.

She laughed once more.

My owl jumped and flew to (Y/N)'s shoulder, and rubbed its head on her cheek.

"It seems to like me!" She said happily and smiled at me.

"She does that regularly," I say.

"Yeah, ok," (Y/N) joked and laughed once more.

"Anyways," I say trying to change the subject, "It's getting late, I have to go."

(Y/N) seemed to frown, "Alright," she replied.

When I got home that day, there was something wrong.

A small talon gripped my hood, "Hey!" I say and shook off my owl.

My owl seemed to laughed and rest on my pillow.

"Alright, I'm going!" I say and lay on my bed.

While I slept, I had another vision.

Fire surrounded me. The searing pain I felt was real. I scouted the place. Though fire coated around me, I could see that I was in a room. There was a slumped body beside me, and it weakly mumbled, "Help me..." it cried out. The voice was feminine. "Sir! Over here!" A man called. From all his equipment, he was a fire man. Before I could reply, he yanked me out. "Wait! There is someone in there!" I cried out. "Sir, we have to go, or else-" a loud boom, was heard. I looked and it appeared that the place exploded. "You're lucky to survive." The fire man said weakly. "Your owl is lucky to survive as well," a different fire man said while carrying my bird.

I bolted awake.

My eyes bolted around, nothing.

No fire.

No bodies.

A sigh escaped my mouth, my throat dry as the Sahara.

My owl flew up to me, and sat on my shoulder.

"What time is it?" I mumbled to myself.

When I checked it was six am.

I groaned and got up.

After brushing my teeth, I walked out.

My owl noticed (Y/N) waiting at our 'special spot'.

It hooted and landed on their shoulder.

"Hey Eli!" She called out to me.

I grinned and walked to her.

- Time skip -

While we talked, she seemed to grin.

"Hey, I rented a one room cabin." She said happily.

"Let's go!" I say.

We marched up an old hill, and looked.

The cabin was small, but nicely set up.

There was an oil lamp that lit up the room.

"So, wanna look around?" (Y/N) asked.

After some silence, my owl hooted. "My owl says its ok," I grinned.

While we explored, (Y/N) wanted to show me her curtains.

As she showed them to me, something wasn't right...

Then, it happened.

(Y/N) tripped on her curtains and hit the lamp, causing it to go dark.

She struggled as my owl tried to claw her out.

I saw the lamp was creating a fire, the same in my dream.

"Help me..." (Y/N) groaned as fire scorched around me.

Sirens sailed in the distance as I though of a plan.

It wasn't going to end like this!

I broke a window after throwing a chair.

"Help!" I yelled out.

My owl flew out, maybe to alert them.

"Sir! I need you to come to me!" The same Fire man said.

"Someone is in here with me!" I shouted.

"Sir, you no time!" He says and dragged me out.

"Wait-"

BOOM.

I looked and saw the building exploded.

"(Y/N)..." I muttered before I was knocked out.

End of flashback

Many others ask why I have a cloth wrapped around my eyes.

One reason was that I am a Seer, and I need to see visions.

The other reason was that I wanted to hide my grief over the death of (Y/N).
