The next day

Taehyung had a press conference with vouge early in the morning , he felt very uneasy knowing he would have to lie every time he was in these conferences , but he had to do it for the sake of his career

Hopefully they didn't ask him any extreme questions

"Are you in any type of relationship at the moment ?" One reporter ask Taehyung .

"Fuck" he thought . He knew they were ask him something like this . Everyone was holding their mics , people recording , and even a journalist for vogue .

"Just be straight forward !" He said to himself .

But alas nothing but lies came out of him

"No , I haven't found anyone good for me honestly , and I rather be focusing on my modeling instead" Taehyung replies plastering a smile

And after that conference Taehyung's career and fame sky rocketed off . He was now followed by a few paparazzis and was offered more modeling gigs.

A week later

Yoongi was casually scrolling through his Twitter not finding anything to important . He came across an article having his boyfriends face on it . He happily clicks on it recalling Taehyung had a press conference a week ago

"South Korea's top model Kim Taehyung was interviewed at vogue , The males jaw dropping visuals have been all people have been talking about . Studying at the university of Seoul he has told us college life is pretty wild , 'nothing out of the ordinary' he said 'we do party a lot but get our work done' told vogue .

Yoongi smiles , extremely proud of his baby he kept reading until something caught his eye

"We asked Taehyung if he had any love interest at the moment and replied with 'No , I haven't found anyone good for me honestly , and I rather be focusing on my modeling instead'

Yoongi's eyes furrowed and grips his phone tightly . Why the fuck would Taehyung lie about his relationship with him ? Was he ashamed of him . He scoffs feeling hurt and anger bubble up inside him .

If Taehyung doesn't have any love interest at the moment so be it .

"Yoongi hasn't replied to any of my texts or calls ! What do I do ?" Taehyung asks frantically

"Bro you told them you were single he has a right to be pissed right now just let him be" Jeongguk says shrugging making Taehyung frown

He felt really bad after he said that knowing it was a huge mistake but he knew Yoongi couldn't stay mad at him for long and hopefully he could understand

Coincidentally Yoongis fathers company had also had an interview , both father and son were asked about the company business and about their upcoming plans for it .

They were asked some off topic questions Yoongi had felt irritated of . But he answered either way .

"There was a rumor that Yoongi was supposedly dating model Kim Taehyung , is it true Yoongi ?" An interviewer ask

Everyone's eyes are on him everything fell silent his father looks at him with a sympathetic eyes knowing Yoongis heart break . He knew it wasn't his place to tell Yoongi what was right but he sure hoped Yoongi said the rumors were true .

"No . In fact I'm heterosexual , This Kim Taehyung person is just a class mate around my campus for all I care he can lick my dick" Yoongi says rolling his eyes .

Everyone gasped and looked at each other with mortified looks . Yoongi's father internally screams banging his head on the table .

"Uh anyways we have very short time left and we have many things to do . Thank you all for coming" Yoongi's father says dragging Yoongi out of his seat .

"What just happened Yoongi ?" Yoongis father hissed

"I told them the truth !" Yoongi says defensively

"No , last time I checked you had a boyfriend you shit head ! Why did you lie . I don't care if my sons gay or not scream it out to the world but don't lie !" He says

"Well Taehyung wanted to play with fire I fought back . It's fine dad , it's no big deal Taehyung caused this so he got what he wanted" Yoongi says carelessly

He just hope he did the right thing
