Are we to believe that you on the inside
Are the same as me on the outside
I slip my hand between the bars
To touch you
To love you
To show you that I care
Regardless of these boundaries

You look at me with your kind eyes
Why am I here and you're there?
Oh my dear, you've been deemed immoral
Immoral according to who?
According to society

I will wait for you
But how long is enough?
Time is precious
But you're worth it
