The bus pulls into my stop I get up quickly. I grab the cold metal retailing on the way of the bus. "AVERY" Toby calls. "Can you come over to play!" To shouts excitedly. He looks at me with love in his big blue eyes. It breaks my heart to turn him down but I have no energy i don't want to be a burden. "Sorry buddy, I have a big test tomorrow and I have to study. Maybe Friday?" I say softly. "Pinky promise" he pleads "Ok pinky promise" I reply. We lock fingers and shake on it. I walk to my house say hi to my mom then head to my room. As soon as I close the door I feel regret, why can I do anything right.
