They say "Pretty is rare and beauty is everywhere"
My understanding for 'pretty' is not the outward appearance but the inward.
Well, for what I thought as I was taught.
I know I'm not pretty but my heart was.
To all parts of you.
The good, the bad.
I never judged,
Despite the fudged.
For my values would not let me see,
What should barely be.
I've seen too much and felt too much, too ever give it up.
But you changed it all,
For the best?
No! for the worst,
Now I'm incontrovertible.
Thanks! to the truth that unraveled.
How did you sleep? Peacefully?
Want to know mine? Dreadfully.
Questioning my self worth and love.
Curiousity kicks in too, you know.
How could the 'I love yous' not be genuine?
When they seem to be so true to me.
Or was it because I was blinded by your love?
Oh wait no, 'by my love for you'.
There's the difference, if you understand.
Knowing the fact that I would never be enough for you is sad.
That I was your most unwanted love?
Well, that sucks even more.
