Karin's POV

As I looked at her walking a way a bittersweet smile popped up on my face. "I can't lose you now, sweetie. I love you so much that I couldn't even take if you're away." I whispered under my breath.

I finished my assigned job that Orochimaru gave me. I want to spend more time to my daughter before she'll leave again. I wish that she's my real daughter. I wish that I owned her by blood and not by heart.

"It's their own fault for not feeling her presence back then." I sighed, heading in the kitchen to cook her favorite foods. "Hey, Karin." a soft voice called me. "Oh, Akane-san. Something wrong?" I asked as I look at her.

She shook her head and helped me do with cooking. "I'm a bit curious about Asuna's father." she mumbled, making me frown in confusion. She chuckled seeing my reaction, "Sui told me that he's not Asuna's real biological father." she explained.

That dumbass! I told him that no one should know about the real identity of Asuna! Oh no.. Is this already my own karma? Are they going to find out the truth and take away my Asuna?

I dropped the knife I was holding because of my thoughts. "You okay?" Akane-san asked me with worry on her face. I just nod. "It's also impossible if Sui is the father. They don't look alike." Akane uttered.

"She's an Uchiha." I mumbled. "I know, with those sharingan she has. I bet her father is attractive because Asuna is attractive too." she laughed. "He was." I smiled. "Love him?" she asked that made me shock. "Not anymore." I replied.

"What if her father came back and take her away from you, will you allow that to happen?" a baritone voice asked. Akane and I both look where the voice came from. It was no other than Hansuke.

"I won't let him. Asuna is mine." I answered. "Even if that means losing your daughter's happiness?" he asked again. "She's already happy on what she have today. I suffered carrying her for nine months without her father on our side. I raised her with all my heart with Suigetsu until we met you all and made her feel loved that she need. We gave her everything for her own good and that what matters for me. I love my daughter and I can't take losing her." I said. Making my own lies again. But even if it is a lie, I'm still sincere on those words. I do love her.

"Her father has right to Asuna as her daughter." Hansuke shrugged. "But he left and he doesn't have rights anymore." I said. "Feel your daughter's feeling from time to time, Karin. She needs her father." with that words he spoke hit her.

I can't feel her feelings... I'm just her fake mother.

"Finally, all done." Akane giggled whem we finished cooking for our dinner. "I'm going to call the boys for our dinner. While you call your daughter and talk to her." she said and with that she left calling Hansuke and Kenzou.

I went to call for Asuna slowly. I'm getting nervous without apparent reason. When I reached her room, I opened the door. She's asleep. Then I froze hearing her talking in her sleep.

"I love you, papa. I'm going to see you soon." a pang of guilt hit me hard that made my heart shattered. I was wrong.

"Sweetie, time to wake up. Dinner is ready." I wake her up. I kissed her forehead while caressing her hair. "Mom?" she mumbled as her eyes are opening slowly. Without thinking my words I spoke that made her burst into tears. It was a lie again. I really want to own her. She's my daughter and she's mine.

No Sakura, no Sasuke and no Sarada. Just me and Asuna. That's all.

"Your papa doesn't love us. That's the reason why he left us."
