A few days ago you received a text. You were astonished that he even had the confidence to ask this. Deku, one of the shyest people you knew(rivaled only by yourself), had asked you to hang out.
You were eager to get closer to him, so you accepted. A few texts later, you both decided on meeting at the gym. You weren't actually an active person to begin with, so Deku had you beat there. But he seemed really thrilled about this, and you didn't mind.
The gym was not a place you'd usually go. But it was for Deku. And besides, it would be good for you.
You arrived at the place, and saw Deku sitting on a bench waiting for you. His eyes lit up when he saw you, beaming like his usual cheery self. "[Y/N]!" He called you over.
After the two of you stood there smiling like idiots, you perked up, ready to hit the gym(as ready as you'll ever get).
The bright setting filled with the buzz of gym-goers wasn't really your thing. You preferred quieter places. And you most certainly preferred places with less people. Deku, still optimistic, smiled and led you to the ellipticals.
"Oh, good. Something not too difficult," you joked about yourself.
"Oh, don't say that!" Then with a slight sigh in his voice, he added "You don't give yourself enough credit, [Y/N]. You're more athletic than me"
This shocked you. In your head, you assumed it'd be the other way around. "I don't- Deku, that's not true... at all."
Except Deku's expression seemed genuinely surprised by what you said. His face was saying 'Really?'. It was as if in this moment, he didn't believe you.
After being on the ellipticals for a few, you decided to take a short break. You were chatting with Deku about something unimportant, when he begins staring somewhere else in the room.
This was normal for him. Until you looked closer at his face, and noticed that he almost looked scared. Scared?
He was paying attention to someone- you were sure of it. "Deku, what is it?"
He said nothing, only pointing. First, his hand pointed at one end of the gym. You squinted, trying to figure out what he was pointing at.
"Is that... Bakugo?" And sure enough, he was there, alone lifting weights.
With his mouth slightly open, he nodded once. Then he pointed at another corner of the gym. And, of course, you spotted Todoroki, on his own at the leg press.
Bakugo was the first to look your way. He immediately stopped. Both of you looked on in alarm as Bakugo made his way over.
Todoroki was next; he spotted Bakugo and watched him. Realizing what Bakugo was doing, Todoroki followed suit. It was like a chain reaction of coincidentally meeting guys who you may or may not have had crushes on.
Both Bakugo and Todoroki now appeared in front of you. Todoroki stayed silent, stoically watching. Bakugo was the first to speak.
"DEKU."
Deku looked up with pure terror in his eyes. He looked like the main character of a horror movie right about to die. You knew he feared Bakugo, but this...
"Deku, what are you doing here with [Y/N]?" He demanded, staring down at the two of you.
"...Go away." Deku muttered, annoyed.
"What? Are you two on a date or something?" Somehow, you felt this coming. This one sentence made Deku turn red with embarrassment.
Bakugo seemed to be preoccupied with Deku. Todoroki noticed this, and seized the opportunity. He turned to you.
"Hey, [Y/N]. I was wondering if you'd like to come work out with me-" He was quickly cut off by Bakugo, who overheard this and shouted
"Hey wait, I was gonna ask that!"
Todoroki said nothing, only side-eying Bakugo, unmoved.
All three guys looked to you for a response. You, not wanting this to get any more heated, came up with a compromise. "How about... I spend equal time with all of you?"
"Okay!" Deku smiled. "That's a great idea! You come up with good ideas so quickly [Y/N]."
Todoroki shrugged, not seeming to care either way.
Bakugo's expression was disgruntled. He looked at you all and simply said "Fine."
Eventually your time with Deku came to an end. The time passed by faster than you thought it would.
