Nia held Tama's hand as they walked through the streets of New York City. "I know I said it already but you really do look beautiful," said Tama. "Thank you, baby, it's all the sun I've been getting," said Nia. "You are always beautiful," said Tama. "You are saying that because we have a camera following us and mics on," said Nia. "Well, I have to keep the conversation PG. I can't say what I want" said Tama. "I know you, so that can wait till we are done for the day, which should be soon," said Nia. Tama wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck. "Good, because I have some shit I wanna say and do, that if I said on camera. You would get in a lot of trouble" said Tama. After about another hour of them doing what Total Divas wanted they were free for the day.

They were in New York for some media and Tama tagged along as he was off. Nia would have taken Lani but she came down with the flu. So she stayed back in Orlando.  Nia was upset she couldn't have her daughter but at least she had the man she loved.

That Night...

Nia had just gotten off the phone with Aulani and she was packed for her flights to Raw tomorrow.  Nia was going to Louisville, Tama was going to Japan.

Nia laid wrapped in his arms, "ugh, I'm going to miss you" said Nia. "Babe, you are still technically injured, you are the general manager of Raw. You could always come to visit me" said Tama. "I think I will, I mean Tamina is pregnant and she got boring," said Nia. "Lani's never been to Japan, you two could always come to visit," said Tama. "You would like that wouldn't you," said Nia. "Yes, my two favorite girls and the city that I love. Why not" said Tama. By now Tama had mentally adopted Aulani as his own daughter. Lani even slowly accepted that he was going to be around for a while. "I'm convinced my daughter loves you more than me," said Nia. "I mean who wouldn't love me," said Tama. "She started calling you dad, and you guys literally have a secret handshake," said Nia. "I have adopted Lani, just not legally," said Tama. "I don't have a problem with that, you been more of a dad to her that her actual dad," said Nia. Tama held her close, "that situation is difficult I know, but for now, we don't have to think about that," said Tama. Nia was a little worried because she recently got word that her ex was getting out. "You are the best, T," said Nia. "I love you, now can we get something to eat. I'm starving" said Tama. Nia laughed and sat up, Tama grabbed his phone to ordered something to eat. "You are always hungry," said Nia. "I mean I could always eat you," said Tama. "That has to wait because the food is on its way," said Nia. "Ugh, I guess I could wait to make love to my girlfriend," said Tama. Nia laughed at him, "babe, come with me to get the food downstairs" said Nia, look down at her phone. Tama pulled himself out of the bed and grabbed the room key. They walked out of the room and Tama was wrapped around Nia. "You are literally a giant baby," said Nia. "I know I am, it was being with you that made me this way," said Tama. They got on the elevator and go downstairs. Nia went pay the delivery guy and Tama went get their drinks from the vending machines.

"Alipate, long time no see," said Foxy. "Something I have been grateful for," said Tama. "You don't miss what we had," said Foxy. Tama cursed under his breath. "No, you know I'm with Nia and have been for the past year," said Tama. "I know, just asking we ended on a bad note," said Foxy. "We weren't good for each other, and we realized that we weren't what the other wanted," said Tama. "I'm not trying to ruin anything you have with Nia, I can see that she makes you happy," said Foxy. "She does, I honestly think I'm going to marry her one day," said Tama. "I wish you the best of luck with your relationship, family, and life in general," said Foxy. "Thank you, I wish you well too," said Tama. "I'm going to offer a hug, bit feel free to reject it," said Foxy. Tama gave her a friendly hug and walked away. Nia was at the elevator, "what took you so long" asked Nia. "I was having a friendly conversation with Foxy," said Tama.

They got on the elevator. Nia rolled her eyes, she didn't have any issues with Alicia. She just didn't like the fact that she was in Tama's DMs the last time. "Babe, we already established that I don't want her and she doesn't want me," said Tama. "Hell, even if she wanted you. You aren't going anywhere" said Nia as she pecked Tama's lips.

They got off the elevator and Nia walked ahead of him, "I'm definitely going to marry this woman" said Tama. They ate their food once back in the room. They enjoyed some alone time before they even ate. Nia fell asleep using Tama as a pillow.

Next Morning...

Nia woke up due to the sunlight coming into the room. She showered and started brushing her teeth when she noticed her promise ring was missing. Nia checked around the sink, she doesn't remember taking it off. "Babe, have you seen my ring I can't find it," asked Nia. "That's because I have it," said Tama. "Why do you have my ring. Can I have it back" asked Nia? "Because it needed to be replaced," said Tama. He pulled a box from his jacket, "What is going on" asked Nia. Tama kissed her passionately. He moved to one knee. "What's going on, is I'm asking you to marry me," said Tama. "Stop joking around, T. Give me my ring back," said Nia. Tama opened the box and revealed a beautiful ring. "I'm serious. Will you marry me, Lina" asked Tama. Nia realized he was being serious, and her eyes started to water. "I love you more than words can describe. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and Lani. I never want to go anywhere without you by my side. So will you-" said Tama. Nia cut him off. "I heard you the first time. Yes, I will marry you" said Nia. "Are you serious, you were taking long I thought you were going to say no?" said Tama. He stood up, "Alipate, shut up and give me my damn ring," said Nia. He put the ring on her finger. "I love you," said Tama. "I love you too," said Nia. She kissed him and stayed in his arms for a minute. "Why did you have to propose when I look bad. Like my hair isn't brushed, I'm wearing sweats and a shirt that belongs to you" said Nia. "I don't give a single fuck what you are wearing, you are still beautiful in my eyes," said Tama. "You talk too much," said Nia. Nia kissed him again, "That's one way to get me to shut up," said Tama.
