34.

A month later...

Nia woke up and started getting ready for the day. Her due date was 2 days ago and her son still decided to stay in. Tama came and wrapped his arms around her and her belly. "Why is your son so stubborn," asked Nia. "If he doesn't come today, the doctors already planned for you to have a c section," said Tama. "Babe, what if something goes wrong," said Nia. "Nothing will go wrong, this time next week you and I will be sleep deprived parents of a newborn," said Tama. Nia smiled and kissed him. She walked out of their room and made breakfast for Lani before Ben came to get her for school. Tama did dishes as Nia looked at him. "Staring is never good," said Tama. "It is when I'm staring at my husband," said Nia. Tama pecked her forehead. "What did you do wanna do today," asked Tama. "I just wanna spend the day with you. We can watch wrestling matches and cuddle in the theater" said Nia. "I'm perfectly fine with that, I would want nothing more than to spend the day with my beautiful wife," said Tama. "Whatever, you get the snacks and meet in the theater," said Nia. With help, Nia got off the couch and stood at the island when she felt water trickled down her leg. "Finally," said Nia excitedly, Tama looked at her, "What are you finally in labor" joked Tama. "Yes, my water just broke," said Nia. "Really," asked Tama. "Yes, now get me to the hospital so they can get this child out of me," said Nia.

12 hours later...

Nia woke up still feeling the effects of just giving birth. "Babe," said Nia. Tama was at her side in a heartbeat. "Yes, love," asked Tama. He was shirtless and their son rested on his chest. "I want my son," said Nia. Tama gently placed their son in her arms and Nia smiled as their son looked up at her and opened his eyes. He had Nia's eyes but was Tama's twin. Everyone had visited earlier while Nia slept and Lani and Uli'Uli were going to visit tomorrow. "This is our life now isn't it," said Nia. "Yep, it's Aulani, Uli'Uli, and him," said Tama. They have yet to name as they never choose a name but they did have some ideas. "Babe, guess what," said Tama. "What," asked Nia, not looking up at him but she instead focused on their son. "We made a good looking baby," said Tama. Nia laughed at him. "Yes, we did," said Nia. Nia proceeded to feed their son before he fell asleep on her chest.
