AFTER FEW YEARS
Siddharth didn't forget Avneet, but he fell for her even more. Just the mention of her name can make him grin like crazy. He always started his day, looking at her picture framed in his room. Whenever he saw her on TV, he would jump up with red flushed face. He fell hard, too hard in love.
Avneet achieved what she wanted. She had become the queen of the fashion designing industry with her ACE fashions. Krupa had her fair share in bringing up Ace fashions, after all Krupa never left her side, even in the toughest of times. Finally, she achieved it, she had what she wanted in her fingertips, except one thing, love.
On the other hand, Siddharth couldn't control himself. He felt like his heart would explode because the happiness he was feeling, when the reporters were praising about his soon to be girlfriend.
He wanted to see her and tell her that he waited for her. He wanted to say that he never even thought of any other girl except her. He wanted to say how he was head over heels for her. But no, he couldn't, he simply couldn't. He didn't have the guts to do so. He didn't want rejection. He solely hated it, just like any other human being. For him, a hang out like old times would be enough too.
He knew, Avneet was busy and he knew she would definitely overwork herself because he, himself had seen it too many times and fingers wouldn't be enough.
But what if he can help her, unlike the other times in the past, where he would just sit and stare at her from a kilometer of distance? What if he can talk to her? What if he can work for her? No one could stand in his way if he decided to do so. And that wasn't a bad idea, indeed it was crazy but it was possible, nonetheless.
And that's how folks, our Siddharth Nigam ended up calling Krupa Edwards, his beloved friend who he had kept contact through out these much years.
"Krupa, hey this Sid, do you remember me?" asked Siddharth mentally feeling happy because she picked up the call.
The croaking sound went on for a few seconds and finally she picked up, and her tone was professional and bold enough to impress people.

Her voice changed into the usual soft tone. And he could say, her lips portrayed a confused smile.
