I FOUND MYSELF FLIPPING through the magazines anxiously as I tapped my feet against the floor. I was at the bookstore, awaiting the arrival of Tupac. The day that I left his house after his girlfriend went crazy, I took that as my sign to give up and move on with my life.

A few days after the incident, I received a phone call from him where we basically agreed to meet up. Especially, when I explained to him that I wasn't comfortable with our daughter being around his deranged girlfriend.

The double doors opened and our eyes landed on each other as soon as he stepped inside. I watched as he stuffed his hands into his pockets nervously. "What's up, Mika?" He commented in a cool manner.

"Hey, Pac. Have a seat." I sent a small smile in his direction as he sat across from me. "I want to start off by saying, I appreciate you for allowing me to see you. I hated that you felt the need to get the law involved, but I won't hold that against you. The things I did to hurt you is something I'll always regret. And I hope you know I'll never disrespect you in public or private ever again." I simply nodded at his words.

"I'll admit, filing the restraining order against you was a little extreme to a certain degree. But I felt that it was only right in case things escalated even more between us. It was getting bad, Pac. I was just trying to make the right decision so neither of us could get into trouble." I attempted to explain my reasons as to why I did what I did in the best way possible.

"I play a huge part in that. I was acting off impulse, but you already knew that. The things I did and said only came due to the hurt. With you leaving Death Row, as well as Dre, and the whole Biggie situation, I was losing it." He stared off into space, his eyelashes fluttering out of pure habit.

"I don't hate you, we're both human. I just despise how we've been treating one another. We're better than that. I don't want us to keep doing this." I leaned forward, hesitantly placing my hand on top of his, causing him to pierce his dark ocular perceivers into mine.

He used his thumb to run across the evident vein that showed through my wrist. I watched him look as if he was in a deep train of thought before speaking. "You never stopped meaning anything to me. Don't ever let my anger fool you, I'll always have a soft spot for you. No matter who we're dating, I won't ever forget what we had cause that'll be sacred to me until my very last breath. Remember that." He expressed in a low tone.
