*The Next Day*

Subaru POV:

Akito: "Thank you very much for everything."

Ron: "Yeah thanks a lot."

Heishi: "I'm sorry for troubling you!"

Hotaru: "I wasn't expecting you to recover so quickly! But I'm glad!"

Nao: "So....mind introducing us?"

Heishi: "Right! I'm Heishi Otomaru! Thank you for helping us!"

Nao: "Not at all! Mother's medicine works like a charm!"

Hotaru: "Haha not this fast though."

Yuka: "Maru~nii! I'm glad you feel better!"

Heishi: "You can call me Heishi if you want Yuka-chan!"

Yuka: "Really?! Ok then Heishi~nii!"

"Nao."

Nao looked at me and nodded gently.

Nao: "Hey! While you're still here want to watch us practice?"

What?! 

"Nao, this practice-"

Hotaru: "I think it's fine! Go ahead and watch! We'll watch too!"

I looked at Hotaru and she simply looked back with a smile. This is how we ended up, practicing with everyone watching.

3rd POV:

Nao and Subaru were facing each other with bamboo swords pointed at each other.

Yuka, Hotaru, Ron, Akito, and Heishi were all watching on the other side.

Nao: "Father."

Subaru: ?

Nao: "If I win this match, I want you to let me go on my own, OUTSIDE the village."

Subaru: "......you want to go on a journey?"

Nao: "Yes. I want to find them."

Akito, Ron, Heishi, and Yuka looked confused.

Subaru: "Very well but you must beat me then!"

With that their match started.

Nao POV:

Father went straight in for me and I was able to dodge it in time. I countered by hitting my sword back at him but.....father was fast. He quickly hit my sword back and it was a battle of strength.

I knew I would quickly lose at this rate.....but I didn't know what to do. Out of time to think, father hit the sword out of my hand.

"Ah!"

Subaru: ".......you aren't ready for the outside world."

"...No.....it's you that's not ready for the outside world Father!"

I quickly grabbed my father's hand and threw him over me.

I then grabbed my sword and kicked my father's sword out of his hand when he was distracted. Father looked at me surprised.

"Father......Mother told me you know."

Subaru: !

"How you met. What life you had back then.....and how she saved you like she saved me."

I grip my sword hard.

"But.....I'm not a child anymore. I'm grown up and I don't need protecting. If I make the wrong choice then I will make it right. "

Subaru: "I see that. "

My father got up and put his hand on my head.

Subaru: "Yuka needs to know. If you're leaving now. Tell her now."

Father took his hand of my hand and grabbed his sword and left.

Outside the battle POV:

Heishi: "What just happened?"

Hotaru: "........you finally did it Nao."

Akito: "What did she do? Other than beat her father?"

Hotaru: "Could....you boys wait inside the house? I'm sure, Subaru wants to talk to you all."

The boys looked confused but listened anyway and left. Nao then soon came up to Hotaru and Yuka.

Hotaru: "Nao......."

Nao: "........."

Nao went up to Yuka.

Nao: "......Yu-Chan."

Yuka: ??? "What is wrong Onee~chan?"

Nao: "......you shouldn't call me that."

Yuka: "W-What?"

Nao: "You're young Yuka. And I shouldn't be telling you this yet."

Nao: "But.....Yuka, you aren't my sister."

Yuka: ! "W-What! B-But!"

Nao: "You had a feeling right? You're a smart girl Yuka. We don't look anything alike. We don't act similar."

Nao: "I'm-"

Yuka: "ONEE-CHAN IS ONEE-CHAN NO MATTER WHAT!"

Yuka hugged Nao as she was trying not to cry.

Nao: "Yu......."

Yuka: "Yu doesn't care if Onee~chan isn't her blood sister! Onee~chan is Onee~chan! And will always be!"

Nao: "Yu.....I'm going to leave the village."

Yuka: "W-What?"

Hotaru looked shocked.

Hotaru: "What do you mean? You never told me about this! I mean, I know one day but now?!"

Nao: "Hotaru-san."

Hotaru frooze. Never in her life did Hotaru hear Nao call her that since she was little.

Nao: "I want to find my real family. No matter what. I'm thankful for everything you have done for me. But I want to find them. I know it won't be easy. But I'm sure my memory will come back!"

Hotaru: "........ok......Nao......"

Hotaru hugged Nao tightly.

Hotaru: "At least.....come visit us......"

Yuka: "P-Promise Onee~chan!"

Yuka held on Nao's dress with tears in her eyes.

Nao: "I promise."

Heishi POV:

Akito, Ron and I found Mr. Asuka in the house sitting down.

"Mr. Asuka! Mrs. Asuka said that you wanted to talk to us?"

Subaru: "......."

Ron: ".....Is it about Nao?"

Subaru: ".....yes."

Akito: "But what about her?"

Subaru got up and turned around.

Subaru: ".......Take care of Nao........"

With that he then left.
