Time.
One word, four letters. 4 alphabets that can change everything. One can't really understand this untill it happens. I'm telling you, nothing remains the same. You never know when your life will turn upside down.
For the good or for the bad.

It's weird. When you're happy hours feel like minutes. But then there are times, when minutes feel like hours, hours feel like days and days... Don't get me started.

But here I am. I've waited YEARS. Years of wait for something I desperately want. Revenge. Nothing else. Ever since that day that's all i want. He destroyed everything, my life, my dreams, my whole world.

Like they say, somethings can never be the same, ever again. And that's the reality. As sad as it is, that's the truth. That's the truth we have to live with. That's the truth I've been living with.

That's something, maybe even the only thing time cannot change. The truth.

" Destiny? "
I turned around startled by the voice.

" What are you still doing inside? We have to go. "

I quickly checked the clock in my room and sighed, 1.25 pm. It's about time.
" Yeah I'm coming. "

As I hear footsteps retreating down the hall, I quickly collect my stuff that I'll be needing. Nothing much to be honest, just some clothes and other essentials that I might be needing during this 'trip'. I snorted. Of Course Josh would call it a trip.

Shaking my head I exited the room and made my way downstairs. I have to be at this meeting to discuss our plans and I can't be late.

I could already hear Josh's voice even before i reached the door. He was shouting at someone. I rolled my eyes. This guy has some anger issues.

" -now get out of here before I - "

" Let's go. "
I interrupted whatever he was about to say to the poor guy who was visibly shaking. I wonder what he did but if I'm being honest, when Josh is in a bad mood, he just needs an excuse to lash out at anyone and everyone.

Josh gave him one last glare before getting in the car.

I gave the poor boy a small smile before loading my stuff and getting into the passenger seat.
I have to be honest, I'm not particularly thrilled to be in the same car as him and it doesn't help how pissed he is but I don't have a choice right now. After all he is the one who knows the location, or more specifically how to get get there.

So I just decided to ignore his presence for the whole ride. I already have a lot on my plate, and I don't want him to add to that.

I know why he's upset. It's because I'm being sent on this mission and not him. I couldn't help but chuckle, someone's ego got hurt.

He looked at me sideways in confusion but didn't say anything, which I'm thankful for. I don't want to talk to anyone right now and trust me if this meeting wasn't so important I wouldn't even go there.

I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding when we reached the meeting spot.

It was an old house, in the middle of the woods. Broken windows, cracked walls... this house looks straight out of a horror movie. It's so eerie here, it's insane. Elliot always likes such creepy places. And rightfully so, this is the kind of place you would never visit. Perfect for him.

Shaking my head I entered the house. This should be fun. ( Note the sarcasm )

( 20 minutes later)
